Mahalo million times over!
We decided to try this amazing local spot while on vacation after reading the great reviews. We're from Illinois, but visited Oahu a few years ago, so we couldn't pass up stopping here. The food was incredible, we had the Katsu, pork and the Kalbi ribs. Beyond the being absolutely delicious every one working there was so welcoming. Definitely give this place a try if you want to authentic Hawaiian cuisine. 5⭐
I got a Poly Plate yesterday, and came back today for their Poke Bowl and Otai. Some of the best Hawaiian food I've had in a long time. The atmosphere is great, and the servers super nice. I love everything about this place. 😁

Sweet's Island Place | Hawaiian is a local joint in Provo, Utah, offering absolutely THE BEST HAWAIIAN food. The atmosphere is very nice, and the staff is so friendly, amazing, and super nice with a very genuine kind energy. The portion sizes are very generous, and the price is very good. The food is excellent, including the best Polynesian chicken ever had, teriyaki chicken, kalua pig that's salty and smoky, perfectly coated teriyaki that's equal parts savory and sweet, rice that is soft and sweet, crunchy katsu chicken, and the Saturday special of poke. Loved the otai and need to come back for a watermelon otai. The place is truly ohana, with a bunch of regulars. They are only open for lunch, so get their stuff before it's all gone.
