Starbucks in Pleasant Grove

“Isaac makes a cup of coffee so well that I proposed to my girlfriend an hour later. We order a fairly complex cup of coffee that was designed by a friend of ours that used to work at Starbucks. Isaac asked follow up questions the first time we ordered and made it the best out of anyone that we’ve ordered the drink from. We came back every day that he worked the week that we were in town and we even invited him to the wedding. The man is magic!“

“I have very specific orders that I want and would prefer to mobile order just to ensure my order is made correctly and to not bother the staff but everytime I check on the app, the mobile order option is not available. I guess my order was put in incorrectly so they had to re-put it in but it wasn't correct to what I had originally ordered. I felt bad having to ask them to correct it yet again. They kindly remade it for me but it was too milky (even though I ordered just 1/2 inch of milk), barely had any ice that the drink wasn't even cold, and there was hardly any caramel lining the cup as I ordered. I could tell it was frustrating for the staff and I was kind. I didn't want to bother them again but at that point I wished I had just asked for a refund bc after all of that, my drink wasn't even made properly. I ended up going to another location, explained the situation, threw that one away, and got a new one that was made correct to order the first try. The workers here tend to be kind and I go often enough that there are some I appreciate but it seemed as if there was some tension within the team and they were more focused on being right and doing things correctly but not making my drink correctly. It was just a little frustrating of an experience and very time-consuming. Thankful for the staff trying to work with me but then after all of that, I didn't even walk away satisfied with a good drink. So just a little disappointing. Having mobile order available more often would be really helpful in situations like these so customers can ensure they're putting in their order correctly without stressing the staff out more and so we can get there and have our drinks ready for us when we get there.

All the other times I've been here I've had great service and it has never been too busy and for the most part, my drinks are made correctly.“
