Bar 86 is a casual spot with hightops, pool tables, and a long bar. The menu offers mostly deep-fried options, but the grilled chicken tacos are a standout. The portions are generous, and the Pittsburgh cheesesteak is a hit. The hamburgers are the best in a long time, and the onion rings and sweet potato fries are excellent. The pizza is delicious and plentiful. The owner Marc is a solid guy, and the service is top-notch. The bartenders are awesome, and the atmosphere is truly evocative and very comfortable. The restaurant is open on Sundays, with plenty of TVs and a game room. No one under 21 is allowed.
