Lola Reviews
Location is great, but seems way overpriced ($15 for two small tacos) and some menu items just seemed off. Guacamole was barely mashed up avocado with what looked like parmesan cheese and no other detectable seasonings. Service was pretty spotty and they never did bring us a drink menu. Go to T27 (awesome guac!) or RocTaco instead.

Lola is a unique restaurant known for its amazing food and fantastic drinks, according to multiple reviews. The scallops and asada tacos are particularly praised, along with the fish tacos, which many consider the best they have ever had. The Miso Burger is also regarded as one of the best in Salt Lake City. The inside has a welcoming aesthetic, and service is often described as excellent and accommodating. During recent visits, servers have been highlighted for their kindness, with one even going out of their way to ask the Chef for an off-menu open burrito, which many hope will return. The food, including shrimp tacos, carnitas tacos, chilaquiles, and the guac, is highly recommended, and the homemade corn tortillas are very fresh. The drinks, especially the mezcali margaritas, are a highlight—fresher and less sugary than typical mixes. This awesome 'off the beaten path' restaurant has a patio to view the mountains and a small town vibe. Although there can be noise from larger groups, the food is absolutely bursting with flavor, and portions are well worth the money, making Lola a place that many plan to visit again.
