Decided to try this place out. I asked about their vegan rolls since it seemed like they only had vegetarian. The waiter said they were 100% vegan. I knew tempura has egg in it so I just requested that she double check with the chefs. She came back and told me they were not vegan and that she’s been offering these non vegan options to other vegans. We really enjoyed our time at Mint Tapas in Sugarhouse! We tried to go to a neighboring restaurant that put us on the waitlist and never called our name so we said alright time to go somewhere else! Mint sat us right away. We picked the other place because we had our dog with us and luckily Mint has a dog friendly patio as well which is always major bonus points for me. The sushi is good but I do think some other places in the valley have better sushi. However this place definitely...

Came here to try it and it was just decent. The sushi was pretty good though our gyoza came out cold. It was just a lousy experience. The waiter was no where to be found until the very end and the restaurant was not busy. The tables inside are awkwardly small and they have some of the most uncomfortable chairs i have ever sat in they dig into the back of your calves and it was very hard to find a comfortable position.
