Long overdue review! We were visiting SLC for the first time and checking out places to eat. My husband saw Ozora on Yelp and it was within walking distance from our hotel, so we decided to try it out. The restaurant is a bit hidden because the nearby hotel was doing some construction and their entrance is actually in the driveway to that hotel. After a frustrating evening trying to find a restaurant that was open, not too loud, and didn't have an obscene wait time we stumbled upon Ozora and could not have made a better choice! The "tapas style" Japanese dishes were delicious and both the service and the ambiance were excellent. Thank you Ozora for a great meal and a great evening!

Great Japanese food without waiting all night like you do at other places around the block. I had the Nanban Chicken and it was delicious! The age dashi and the sparkling sake were great too! The service is good. A little slow but that’s expected for a small family owned and run restaurant that is just starting.Great date night vibes or a quiet one on one environment. Stop here before the Jazz game or your event downtown.
