The short and focused menu at Provisions makes ordering easy. Adding a spicy kick to my pork Ragu was perfect, and my wife's flat-iron steak was perfectly cooked. My peach sorbet/custard, multi-layered dessert was exceptional, but no desserts are listed on the online menu. Why? I would suggest better by-the-glass wine offerings, as well. Too many blends, not enough variety. How about an Alsatian white (Pinot Gris, Riesling) or a red Zinfandel or Syrah to go with the spicier...
I am always happy to recommend Provisions when I have friends in town. We had a wonderful dinner, made, especially excellent by our server, Tina, who had exactly the right amount of attentiveness and ease in her assistance. We had a variety of food and drink options, some of which were recommended by Tina, and always delicious. I always love finding a new restaurant and I'm always a little hesitant, but Provisions did not disappoint one bit. Cooper (aka Tina) was fabulous. Great sense of humor. Great service.
