“If you want outstanding Thai food, and the best service you’ve ever received - go here! We have 2 kids. They brought a basket of crayons for each, two things to drop on, water with a straw and lid and kids plate and fork. They explained the menu, and were extremely attentive. I’m dairy and gluten free, and their menu accommodates to my dietary needs too.Great for kids. Great for parents. Great for everyone. Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating to my gluten free and dairy free needsKid-friendliness: They went above and beyond for our 4 year old twins. Each kid had a basket of crayons (no fighting over colors). Kid played. Kid cups and forks. Plus coloring sheets.“
“This is the best black noodle shop i have been to in the US.Used to live in Korea, and this kind of food was a favorite. The flavor is exactly like Korea - the 탕수육 and 짜장면 and even the 짬뽕 is all spot on for flavor. If you are new, get the black noodles first.“
“This place hands down has the best Pho in the valley. The broth is so good and the meats on the house special have always been great. They serve plenty of noodles as well with each bowl. The pot stickers are a great choice as well here. The service can be slightly slow but overall very satisfied with all aspects highly recommended!“
“We were sightseeing in Salt Lake City, not expecting to find the best Asian food, and I can definitely say this is one of the best noodle spots of all the restaurants I've tasted in the Bay Area, San Diego, and even China. The broth is complex and delicious, and you can tell they use a lot of different spices. At the same time, it's not greasy at all, so you can drink the entire bowl after you eat the noodles. I got the braised beef rice noodles both times I visited, and even my husband, a Chinese native, was impressed by the broth. The restaurant is small and homey. Service is very fast, and you are expected to clean up after yourself (so no tip is expected). I recommend getting here early and/or during off peak hours because it can get pretty busy--especially on weekends. Parking can be tricky to find during rush hours.“
“A friend recommended this place, and on a cold night in Utah, we decided to give it a try.The service at Pho Cali was quick and straightforward, the no-nonsense kind that I appreciate. They were attentive and patient as we placed our orders. We started with the egg rolls and spring rolls. While they were good, they didn't exactly make me rave. If you're in the mood for them, they'll satisfy your craving. Our main focus, of course, was the pho. We ordered the special pho and a plain pho with no meat because our kids adore the flavorful broth and noodles. Let me tell you, their pho hit the spot perfectly. It left me wondering why they haven't opened a location in Sandy yet. I'm already craving more, and I can't wait to return on the next cold day.But that's not all we tried. The stir-fried egg noodles with seafood were banging as my daughter would say and everything was fresh and piping hot, just the way we like it.If you're in the mood for a comforting and delicious bowl of pho, Pho Cali is the place to go. It may not be far from us but it's definitely worth the drive. I can't recommend it enough for a satisfying pho experience.“
“This time, we tried the citrus slaw, nam spring rolls, and filet mignon pho, all of which were delicious. We’ve been to Saola several times and it’s always a great experience with its stylish atmosphere, fresh and flavorful food, and outstanding service. Highly recommended.“
“Update:They have moved locations across the valley to the Sandy/Cottonwood area. New area is super busy. They only do dine in from like 12-4 jsyk, but they do takeout otherwise. We didn't know any of this so we're a bit thrown off, went to soala instead which I guess shares a kitchen with them?_________________________________One of my favorite pho spots, their Vietnamese mint lime drink is sooooooo good.“
“First impression: dog bowls. LOL. My husband and I came in for lunch without any idea what to expect. This place has a different twist in their noodles: you order a dish, then get served a tray of "ingredients" (or toppings?!) + a noodles bowl (no broth) + a big boiling broth bowl. The broth bowl, which is where you dump everything in to eat out of, was what we thought looked like a dog bowl lol. The portion of noodles are quite big. And the soup was very flavorful. Typical nonchalant Asian style service. Big dining area. Overall a good meal!“
“Excellent! Flavor and attentionWe ordered Thai fried rice and pad see ew (if I remember correctly)The rice had a smoky flavor and the onions gave it a special touch, delicious! And the noodles not to mention! They were glory! The only bad thing about it is that the food was going to run out at some point ? but we will definitely return!“
“Second time here and honestly this is one of the better ramen places here. The menu is limited but that's a good sign because the care they put into the menu items is obvious. Compared to another new ramen spot this one blows it out of the water with the balance of flavor, noodles, meat, and the crunch from veggies without having to pay for extra toppings. Service is quick and friendly. The restaurant was extremely warm though which made it uncomfortable while eating hot soup. The chicken karage was juicy with lots of plump pieces. Parking is plentiful due to the fact it's in a strip mall and there's plenty of seating.“
“You will enjoy this cup bop, it's the same yummy as the food truck. You should walk all the way into the place to order. It's not a perfect layout for a brick and mortar place, but if you think of it like a permanent food truck, it makes sense.“
“A very adorable place with a cute atmosphere. It is very clean every time I have visited. They have great food, some of the best Thai in the city. Super quick service!Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for gluten free with lots of options!“
“I hadn’t been to this restaurant for many years. Tonight we tried two dinner combinations. The chicken with snow peas, beef chow mien, ham fried rice, fried shrimp, cream cheese wontons, hot and sour soup and egg drop soup were all great and much better than I remember them being in the past. In fact the only item that I didn’t think was excellent was the egg roll. It had a bit of an odd flavor. Service was friendly and the prices were fair.“
“Great tasting food, quick and efficient service. This is my husband and I's favorite and go to spot for ramen. My personal favorite is the chicken curry katsu ramen. We also tried their bulgogi fries and it was delicious. All around great experience as always.“
“This location always does a great job - provides great service and quality food. Love the attention to detail for someone that needs to eat gluten free. Friendly staff and the food is always fresh. Also love using their app to order and pickup.“
“It is really affordable here for how tasty it is!! I reccomend the lunch special. Everything I tasted was good, the egg drop soup, the egg roll, the sesame chicken, generat tsaos, and the cream cheese wonton. I definitely want to come back!“
“You ever root for the underdog? I want to see local business succeed. Nothing against the big chain restaurants I just want the mom and pop restaurants to get their share of the market. It's been pre-pandemic since I've eaten here. The pho tai was pretty tasty. It was really nice to see familiar faces when I returned today. Give them a try... they deserve it.“
“Prepare to embark on a culinary journey beyond compare! We can't wait to experience every dish at this establishment. The succulent General Tao's Chicken and the zesty Orange Chicken danced on our taste buds, leaving us craving more. Paired with fragrant fried rice, adorned with delicate peas, carrots, and eggs, each bite was a symphony of flavors. The comforting warmth of the Egg Drop Soup enveloped us, boasting a velvety texture, tantalizing tofu, and a burst of savory goodness. And oh, the Sesame Balls! Crispy perfection on the outside, with a lusciously sweet red bean paste within, they were truly divine. Trust us, you'll be planning your return visit before you've even left the table.“
“Was surprised to see about other customers saying that you place the order at the counter. We were just there couple hourse ago and the staff came to us and took our orders and she was very friendly.Anyhow, I personally have been here a lot of times in the past and my experience is always pleasant, food is always great and I love it that they serve the ?pho like boiling hot.“
“The food is worth the wait, absolutely delicious and care was put into every dish we got. They don't skimp on portion sizes, and everything is fresh. The people who run it are super sweet, but understaffed a bit, so the wait can be long.If you're looking for a delicious dinner, and you're not in too big a rush, this is a fantastic place to eat.“
“What One does better than other SLC ramen spots: (1) great sear on the chashu pork, creating a variety of textures from crunchy to melt-in-your-mouth tender, (2) perfectly cooked jammy eggs, not just half but one whole one!, (3) amazing marinade on the karaage, very gingery and moist thigh meat, (4) pleasant pace of service, (5) not as crowded as, say, JINYA. What could be better: richer tonkotsu broth.“
