“This place was SOOOO yummy! We got a spicy pork & bulgogi bowl, & a Korean fried chicken appetizer. The staff was very nice, I made some modifications to my bowl which they happily helped with. The flavors were super good and it felt super authentic! Definitely would recommend.“

“Paik’s Noodle is a must-visit for foodies seeking an authentic Asian dining experience. Their Chilli Jjamppong is a spicy seafood noodle soup that’ll tantalize your taste buds. The broth is a perfect blend of heat and depth, with generous portions of seafood and veggies. The noodles are chewy and cooked to perfection, making every bite a delight. The restaurant’s cozy atmosphere and friendly service add to the overall positive experience. If you’re craving a hearty and spicy noodle dish, Paik’s Noodle is definitely worth a visit!
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, went in with my kids and the service was exceptional.“

“Excellent cheese Katsu, excellent service, and the breading they use is better than any I have tasted. If you want a variety of flavors try the curry Katsu, and if you want something even more filling try the massive King Katsu.“

“I love this location; there’s a blonde male who works in back mainly, and then there’s a female who works up front - I think she has like blonde highlights, but these two employees are always there working their butts off and they’re super nice! The customer service here is just as good as the food!“

“Their kimbap is my favorite! I haven’t tried a lot of the food they offer but their tteokbokki is pretty good, as well as their kimchi fried rice, although I do wish the pieces of ham were slightly bigger. Great place to go to if you are looking for Korean side dishes or food to go“

“We went there for the first time tonight because I was given a gift card for mother's day. I asked the cashier about the menu and said I wanted a rice, vegi- " which is just cold cabbage", chicken bowl, 2 on spice in a regular and childs size no noodles after asking about the menu. Their system crashed and the order came out without veggies and a lot of sauce on top.
I worked in the service industry so I get that things happen. We paid for another side of rice to offset the sauce overload. We are lighter sauce people.
These bowls have very small amounts of meat in my opinion. Rice isn't expensive. There should be a few more pices of chicken. I wish I had taken a picture.
The flavor of everything was great though once we solved the high amount of sauce.
I then went back to order a side of meat. I was told that it couldn't be done and that I would have to order an additional bowl entre when we already had to buy more rice to offset the heavy sauce. At this point I was frustrated after the order came out wrong and I let that slide to be told nothing could be done other than buying another full meal. When we had already purchased 3. I am not sure what bowl my husband ordered.
I then said so you can't accommodate us at all one and done. I sat down and began writing a review. He offered something else for writing a review but it wasn't what was needed or the chicken we asked to buy. He then made it right and changed the situation for the better. Jackson brought out chicken and cabbage free of charge even though we were happy to pay for the meat.
I genuinely was never going to come back.
We were happy the experience was turned around. I would suggest ensuring your sauce is on the side because you can always get more sauce at no charge. The restaurant was clean and all of the employees were nice happy teenagers doing their best. After working in the service industry I definitely do not believe the customer is always right but I do think anywhere in the service industry should do their best to come up with a resonable resolution before a customer ever has to become frustrated or be left with no solution to the problem. We were happy Jackson came through. Now that we know more about the menu and options we know how to order to best suit our needs now. I would also suggest looking over the menu before going in case you have any questions ahead of time. I would give a 5 star on service if we were accommodated before I got upset. Food would be 5 star if the sauce wasn't so heavy and if there was a few more pieces of chicken with how small they were.
If you want actual veggies I would suggest purchasing the veggie bowl and an additional bowl with extra meat then combine and split the two. The uncooked cabbage isn't what I pictured as being the veggie in the bowl. The veggie bowls cime with broccoli and cauliflower just a more substantial vegetable. The level 2 on spice still had a decent amount of heat so if you are concerned about that at all I would maybe try 2 different sauces on the side to get the right fit. Jackson shared the full history of Cupbop with my husband and it was interesting hearing about it as well.
I think tonight was a learning experience for all of us. Happy we figured it out.“

“I used Bumblebees for catering for a work event and ate at their restaurant. Both services were fantastic! They were extremely easy to work with and accommodating various food restrictions. The feedback from the team was wonderful; people were eager to take leftovers and requested we cater from them often! I will 100% use their catering services again!
Their restaurant is great as well. Delicious, fresh ingredients and creative fusions. Their meats are cooked just right. The atmosphere/decor is not particularly exciting or unique, but that doesn't matter when the food is so good! Absolutely would recommend.“

“Best tteokbokki I ever had in Utah! Great addition to Chinatown area! Affordable price for big portion! What I love about their rice cake is that it doesn’t harden even when I took it home. Really good variety of flavor, spicy level, and side dishes! My favorite is the rose tteokbokki with giant rice cake adding cheese on top! Pair it with fish cake soup, fried dumplings, or fried seaweed rolls!
Only cons is how small and limited seats are at the place.“

“We called ahead and order we're only about 5 minutes away they said it would be 15 minutes. We paid the asked us to pull around and wait a little bit. I ended up having to take my kids to go to the bathroom, and they saw that I had pulled into a parking stall. When we came back they have the food ready and said they tried to find me. They went up and beyond to make sure I got my food.“

“This takes me back to a simpler time. In my childhood in Russia, we had little food and were emaciated from starvation. Thanks to cupbop I will never again feel that pain. Naz Drovia!
The service was pretty good, but I don't love the interior design. Doesn't remind of China.“

“I was here yesterday afternoon, the waiters were very kind, especially the guy who served me, he was attentive to whether we needed anything and whenever he asked us if we were okay, he told us he would be at the front in case we wanted anything else (the skinny guy)
The only thing I didn't like very much was the variation in the music. I think they should put more songs in English and not just in Korean, because there were a lot of Americans and not all of us like Korean music.“

“My wife and I were our way to the Maverick Center, and she wanted some sushi. I saw the sign, and it turned out to be some of the most exquisite tasting sushi we've ever had. We'll definitely be returning. Next time, we'll order from the Korean menu.
I'll also note that our server was the most friendly and attentive waitress we've had in a LONG time she was amazing. This place deserves more than 5 stars!
Oh, one more thing, the prices are great too. You can easily take the whole family.“

“This is my new favorite restaurant! The rice bowls are huge, I get two meals out of it. The food is delicious and so flavorful. The Sweet and Tangy Chicken with a fried egg, and Mandoo is what I have gotten every time. It’s so good and I highly recommend!“

“Lovely restaurant with very friendly staff. Came here with friends who recommended it after saying it was the best Korean food they had found in Salt Lake. I tried their recommendations for the lunch combo, the Beef Buligogi and the Soondubu Chigae. A great deal for the the variety of food you get. I’m probably a bad judge for this style of food but it was good and everyone enjoyed their meal. The metal cups and chop sticks were cool though!“

“New owners took over a few months ago, and they definitely made it much better!! I felt like the previous owners were trying to cater to non-Koreans too much, where as now I feel it's very authentically Korean.
I tried the chicken porridge and was blown away by how good it is!! I will definitely be back with friends to try the chicken!!
If you've come before and were disappointed, I urge you to come back and try it again!!!“

“i love there food it is so good!! i go a lot with my family and everyone loves it!!

“First i want to say, you cook your own food, so the one star review who said they got sick, LEARN TO COOK! This place is the best. My wife and i come here whenever we get the chance. The food, atmosphere, everything, is just great. We get hot pot and bbq each time. our go to dishes are the rib eye soup, and mine is the Tom yum. We get the black pepper pork, and short ribs without fail. Do not listen to the ones who complain about KBBQ because the truth is they dont understand or respect it. Go here, always.“

“I recently dined at Cupbop - Korean BBQ in a Cup, and I couldn't be more impressed! This unique concept offers a delicious twist on traditional Korean BBQ, and it definitely exceeded my expectations.
The first thing that caught my attention was the vibrant and inviting atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and eager to help with menu recommendations. I opted for the beef bulgogi bowl, and it was absolutely mouthwatering! The beef was perfectly marinated and grilled to perfection, with a wonderful balance of savory and sweet flavors.
What really stood out was the freshness of the ingredients. The veggies were crisp, and the rice was fluffy—everything felt so wholesome. I also loved the customizable options; I added some spicy kimchi that took the dish to the next level!
The portion sizes are generous, making it great value for the quality of food. Plus, the convenience of enjoying Korean BBQ in a cup is just brilliant!
Overall, Cupbop offers a fantastic dining experience that combines bold flavors with a fun, casual vibe. I can't wait to go back and try more menu items. Highly recommend!“

“We love ordering from So Grill Korean BBQ and Sushi. The sushi has way more sashimi in it than any other sushi restaurants in the valley which surprises me, and they are delicious! Huge menu to select from with sushi, appetizers and their daily Korean BBQ buffet. Great presentation of food with decent taste.
Hostess and restaurant owner are always very friendly and smiling! Thanks for the great food! : )“

“I’ve had cupbop several times, and I will keep going back! Pros, all the proteins are very well flavored and cooked. The varied spice levels are nice for options. Very tasty and satisfying meal!
Cons: sometimes there’s a ton of cabbage and noodles and a skimpy meat portion on top. This depends on who’s working I’ve found. I’ve also tried the Korean hotdog and it wasn’t fully cooked, and eating raw dough was gross. The lower quality hot dog meat was used, too, wouldn’t get that again.“
