“I had an amazing dining experience at the Spotted Dog. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The Purses with Sage butter was one of my favorites simple, delicious, and perfectly tossed in olive oil without any heavy sauces. It had a clean, fresh flavor that really stood out.
The lamb shank is a must-try. It was so tender that when I held the bone and lifted it, the meat stayed on the plate. That’s how perfectly cooked it was. Absolutely worth it!
The prices are on the higher side, but for a date night or a special evening out, it’s definitely worth every dollar. Highly recommended.“

“Stopped in here with a buddy last Wed after a full day of hiking and was extremely happy with both food and friendliness of staff (particularly Claudia and Ivy). Great place to unwind after a long day of exercise and wanting to relax in a great setting. Cubano sandwich and Nutella crepe both hit the spot! Will be back.“

“I would give this place 10 stars! It’s a uniquely decorated gem and the food is hands down the best breakfast in Zion. I absolutely loved the mismatched China and chairs! It gave the best flair! The Mother and daughter that waited on us made sure we had the best experience at their restaurant. I wish I would have visited it sooner, so I could have tried more things on the menu. The pricing was good! I loved that we got a little side of surprise fruit on the side! You can sit outside or inside. This place is one of a kind and it has a wonderful atmosphere to get your day your day going in Zion.“

“We had lunch outside on their deck one day and also dinner the night before. Lunch was good and 4 star. Dinner was good to ok at about 3.5. but location was great, especially if you're staying at the lodge or need a lunch break after hiking nearby. Black Bean Burger and chicken white bean chili was very good. We did have a brief wait for outdoor table at lunch. Lunch was definitely the better choice.“

“WOW!!! 5 STARS!!! Jamie Jolly, our waitress, was so friendly, engaging, and spot on with her recommendations! I do not like horseradish sauce, but she talked me into the beef tenderloin and said the chef creams it and adds other layers of flavor. It was phenomenal! Best meal I’ve had in years! Jamie was wonderful and her other menu suggestions were impeccable and we had the most wonderful evening out on that patio in the early evening! I felt the price point was very reasonable for this absolutely gourmet dinner!“

“We ate two meals here on our trip to Zion. The food was fresh, well-prepared, delicious, and reasonably priced. The service was quick, efficient, and friendly. I liked that the gluten free items were clearly marked. Eating out can sometimes be tricky for my husband, but the servers were knowledgeable and made any necessary accommodations to make sure his food was safe, and celiac friendly. Plus, the setting at sunset was a beautiful bonus. I would highly recommend the Wild Thyme Cafe!“
