A memorable meal on 3/3/24, because of the stunning view, and because of the seasonal vegetable of the day: nearly raw curried cauliflower served in an extra chunky yogurt/cucumber sauce and topped with dried cranberries. #
We ate here 4 times while staying at the Zion NP lodge. It's a large cathedral ceiling room with lots of knotty pine and a beautiful view through huge windows. The service varied from meal to meal. Once excellent/cheerful , once slow/disinterested and once surly. The steak, fish, bacon, eggs were fine. My family had a late lunch. No wait and we were seated by a window with an excellent view of the mountains. The server was friendly and attentive. Prices are quite reasonable considering the circumstances, and the food was better than everyone's expectations, especially the daily special and craft beer flight.
