Honestly, my husband and I have driven past this place for years and have always said we wanted to go and never did. Well, we finally went and were absolutely not disappointed! The food was great, the staff was friendly, the vibe of the restaurant is very cozy. The menu has a list of different items with the location of where in Mexico that dish either originates or is based off of and it's fantastic ! Definitely a must visit.

Excellent and authentic Mexican and South America cuisine. The restaurant is a former house, but it's atmosphere reminded us of eating at an authentic tucked away family ran restaurant. In deep Mexico. The mole is a 10 out of 10, and the chicken melts in your mouth!

We were recommended to Irmita’s by a relative who lives in the area. It did not disappoint. The chile relleno was one of the best I’d ever eaten. Friendly service. Great salsa. Very, very good.
