“Edited to update, because everything is refreshed since 2022, I believe. Their naan has improved (or my memory of the past has vanished and I just really enjoyed it). The cheese is so so good. We got two sauces and rice, and I ordered online and picked up, and an option was to order a sauce without meat and so I tried that out. I knew I had rotisserie chicken at home I needed to use up, and so when I heated that up and added it to the sauce and rice, it was completely pleasant. Don't hate. I got three meals out of it that way! I got more sauce in the container since no meat was taking up volume. So, take that cheat for what it's worth to your wallet. Masala and coconut kurma are delicious. Their chicken is super tender, obviously better than rotisserie, but the sauces are king for sure. Now that we live closer we'll order here again when the dinner itch needs the Indian scratch...
We've been going to Flavors of India lately and then we tried a new place that wow just wasn't good, so we wanted an Indian redo that we knew we liked. So we came to Bombay House, and as we are, we decided Flavors of India would get our 5 stars compared to BH! Whiles still great, we see that we prefer the rice, naan, and flavors at Flavors of India. Both places have a great chicken pakora appetizer, we tried a nice mango drink at BH this time and enjoyed that a lot. FofI has a cheese naan that we love! And the flavoring on their rice is a little less... floral taste? Anyway, for the price and preferences, we'll likely stick with FofI from now on, but you won't have a bad meal at BH!“

“Any food dish is great. I was enjoying the jalfreizi chicken and asked for a recommendation from the staff. Now I’m hooked on their kadai(?) Staff is very personable and friendly. Pawan, the general manager, is great to visit with while we’re there. Highly recommend this to those who like Indian/Nepalese cuisine or those willing to try new dishes.“

“This was the best dining experience I’ve had in SLC. Excellent food, excellent attention to detail down to the decor and music. Excellent service, reasonably priced. Fresh and delicious. I was chewing on fresh cardamom and the brightest greens and nuttiest soup! Ah! I feel like I just found a gem.“

“Good food. I'm not indian so I can't comment on how authentic it was. But the fried noodles, chicken tikka masala, and chill chicken are pretty good. Plus they actually make the food spicy. If you like spicy food, this is worth trying. The only thing is that there are not enough pictures on the menu, if you don’t understand the name of these dishes it’s a bit hard to order but that’s it.“

“If you are in search of excellent Indian food, you must try this place! My family and I have been going to Royal India for almost 20 years now. This is one of the best Indian food restaurants in the Salt Lake valley. Food is consistently delicious and the owners are always pleasant.“

“Great food and the owner is super friendly. Took my wife there and she loved it. Now one of my regular places to eat.“
“Great food overall, large portions and good selection of foods. Their indian railway themed food and drinks are spot on. Naan was a little crispy for my taste but everything else was wonderful.
Special shoutout to the staff there, Saam was a standout deserves 6 star for her care and attentiveness.
The decor is also quirky and well done without being OTT
Highly recommend“

“I think the name of the restaurant is a bit random and misleading, when I first walked in 5ish months ago I was very surprised that they served Indian food. But minha nossa this food is incredible!! Lol By far the best Indian food I've ever had, and I keep coming back for more. The korma curry is my favorite curry ever, Idk what it is about the naan but it's more better than what I've had other Indian places, the tika masala is very good, the nutritious bowls are also very good and very filling. I love love love their Indian street food appetizer, it is a must have. I have so many good things to say about this restaurant I want everyone to know how amazing the food is here.“

“Clean, open place with indoor and outdoor seating. Very good options for South India vegetarian options. I reached by 6 pm and place started packing. Shows to tell that it's one of the favorites among the locals. I ordered Mysore Masala dosa and Chennai Street Style. Large portions. I underestimated the size and I had to pack Chennai Street Style for later dinner.
Welcoming and bright ambiance.“

“My wife and I recently moved to the Midvale area. We are now frequent customers of Great India. Tonight we ordered their Great India Special Appetizer, the Garlic Cheese Naan, and an order of Chicken Vindaloo (spicy). The flavor is incredible and the food so fresh. We talked with the owners (yep - locally owned, a big plus) and learned that they prepare the Naan when it's ordered, not heated up from earlier in the day. Its obvious! We couldn't recommend a restaurant more highly. Really one our favorites.“

“I’d share a photo of our food but we devoured it quickly and enjoyed it immensely. Jagdish was our server and we were extremely happy with how quick the food came out, drinks were refilled, and holy cow, the TASTE! We had the shrimp curry, chicken tikka masala, and an adventurous chicken dish that my husband can’t remember now. Mango ice cream was lovely, make sure you get an appetizer because it’s worth it! Definitely coming back!“

“I am not a foodie nor familiar with Indian/Nepali Cuisine, my vegetarian daughter does like indian food. We thought we would give this place a try. I believe the food was made fresh and there was a bit of a delay, maybe 15 minutes, getting our food but I felt the food was worth the wait. I asked for a recommendation and they suggested the Chicken Masala which I thought was wonderful. I went with medium spice and felt it was pretty mild. My daughter had a vegetarian dish which she said was as good as she has ever had. I felt the portions were fine, I was easily able to split my entrée into two meals so I have something to look forward to tomorrow for lunch.“

“Food serving size and taste was beyond expectations. If you want to try real taste of Pakistani food, it is the right place for you. We tried a few other restaurants but Curry Corner Caffe is far better. We will miss their food. ?

“Ganesh Indian Cuisine stood out with rich, aromatic flavors that hit the table immediately. The curry I tried was creamy and deeply spiced without being overwhelming. The portions were generous, and the warm naan made everything even better. It’s a casual spot, but the food feels comforting and satisfying. A great choice when I’m craving flavorful Indian cooking.“

“10/10! Such delicious food and wonderful service! Me and my husband wanted to try something new for date night and this was a hit. We will be coming back and bringing all visitors here. I am hit or miss on Indian food but this was such great food. The Lassi was delicious. We got mango and loved it. Highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Butter. Oh and the Naan! Everyone go just for the Naan! We also tried the Papadam and the Gulab Jamun and would reorder both in a heart beat. I will be singing praises for this place for the next forever.“
