“I love love love slackwater. It's always great! The this is Sparta, cardiac and hot honey are my go to's. I've never been disappointed with the pizza or drinks. My last experience I tried the nachos but they were way over cooked to where the cheese had no pull, which glued the chips together. I saw other tables with the nachos and theirs looked good. I bet if I would have told the wait staff, they would have replaced my nachos for that reason and for how consistently great this place is 5 stars all the way. Oh, they have live music and I heard the best nutshell cover ever last winter.“
“First stop in a beer hop downtown. Was quite disappointed that no one greeted us, or even said hello. And it wasn't even busy. The menu was much smaller than I remembered, but I hadn't been here since before 2020. Very small selection of ciders and gluten free options. And the menu didn't really call out what was gluten free. Would definitely recommend a revamp or redesign of the menu.“

“The beer was excellent. Tried several in a flight, then enjoyed some small batches. Every one was top notch. Very friendly, competent staff. Both salads my daughter and I had were white good, the chicken schnitzel was good. But... that was not spaetzle. I have not been to Germany, but I happen to love spaetzle and order at any German place I go to that has it, so I think I know what I am talking about. I also wanted the soup if the day which was,... I can't remember because they were out of the soup of the day, so the server offered in place of the out of soup, he offered me some Chili Verde with, the option of flour tortillas, or corn tortillas. I chose the flour. It was VERY GOOD I REALLY LIKED THE CHILI VERDE it was a lot spicy, but I loved it and so did.my husband.!! My husband got a plain regular hamburger with the garlic fries as well and we both had an alcoholic drink. I had the classic margaritas and my husband tried their Ferrari drink. It seems they prioritize the tables and groups first. so if you want better service, get a table. They're just a bit slower at the bar but not terrible. “Copper Creek is surprisingly good. It took me eight years to try it despite driving by it frequently. The reason it took me so long is I don’t usually like bar food. They tend to be greasy and fine, but not usually worth it unless you are watching sports with a pint. My husband and I finally tried their American burger on Halloween 2023. The bun was perfect and the meat juicy and flavorful. We were so excited. We have been looking for an excellent burger place in the area for years. In the past, when we wanted a good burger, we went Pago. Now we just go here. So far I have only had burgers and the french dip. The french dip is excellent as well. The meat was juicy and flavorful and the bun was chewy.The ambiance is unpretentious but not a dive.
