“Great bbq done right..in downtown Abingdon. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and juicy. The bark was terrific and they had your choice of sides. I had the home made chips and banana pudding, wife had baked apples the beans. Service was quick, but had to ask a couple of times for water and napkins.The live bluegrass music was great! I highly recommend the Bonefire!Wheelchair accessibility: The door is sidewalk level. Sidewalk is cobblestone, but doable. Front door is standard size manual.“

The station is iconic, and great for photos after completing the Creeper trail segments between Abingdon-Alvarado Station or Damascus to Alvarado Station.Alvarado Station is the lowest point on the trail, so it will be an uphill ride into Abingdon, but mostly level to Damascus.“
