“Eating at The Tavern is quite an experience because when you step into the restaurant you step into history. The building that The Tavern calls home was built in 1779! It has hosted some famous folks in it's past, including King of France, Louis Philippe, and our own President Andrew Jackson. Today, Max Hermann, runs around making certain that all is well with guests and employees alike. The food is quite good (try the crab cakes and stuffed filet mignon), and the service is excellent.
