“Lando's Quick ReviewFood: I loved their Shitake Pie Pizza. It's absolutely covered in toppings, particularly mushrooms and a garlic sauce that I really enjoyed. Their mushroom soup was also very good as a quick appetizer. On a seperate occasion, I also had their Margarita Pizza. It was fantastic as well. Overall, their pizza is fantastic and the crust is to die for.Pricing: Their prices are higher than most pizza places, but if you all split a large pizza, it is still cheaper as opposed to getting 3-4 seperate dishes at most other restaurants. You can easily get out for $30 if you all split a pizza.Service: The person we had wait on us was very friendly and attentative. No complaints or anything to mention.Atmosphere: Nothing crazy here but it was very clean and pretty cool. Not a hole in the wall by any means.Parking: Parking can be scarce during the Summer Season. You may need to park far away and walk there.“
“Food & drinks: The restaurant and service was amazing. We had Stephen and he was extremely attentive. I ordered the Shrimp and Grits and it was literally the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot of LowCountry Shrimp and Grits). The cocktails were delicious also. Now my husband and I want to go back and stay for a weekend.“
“We have a vacation home near the Inn and have stopped by the Divide Tavern many times over the years. The cozy, historic ambiance remains consistent. There's often a piano player in the hotel lobby in the evening and there are some historic photos to view. The management of various departments has changed a few times over the years...We recently stopped in for dinner in the tavern on a busy holiday weekend, and despite the current food and staffing shortages, the bar and restaurant staff were very hospitable and made sure that customers were satisfied. The personable chef prepared some nice trout and salmon appetizers and sent them out on small plates for visitors to sample at no charge, they were delicious!... Sometimes this inn feels like a hidden gem, just a couple of blocks from Main Street, Blowing Rock. It was good to see it busy over the holiday weekend!“
“We had a great experience at Town Tavern. It was a beautiful, cool Saturday afternoon, and we were told we had about an hour wait. We went to the bar, and we were quickly served drinks. We sat outside in the beautiful waiting area with comfortable seating and enjoyed people watching and talking while waiting for our table. We were seated in about 35 minutes. Our waitress was excellent. We enjoyed some Spinach Artichoke Dip before our entrees. The dip was ok. Could have been warmer and needed salt. Our dinner, however, was exceptional. We got the Thai Red Chili wings, Philly Cheesesteak, and a Burger. Everything we ordered for dinner was delicious. The Philly was quite possibly one of the best I've ever had. The taste was exceptional, and the bread was so soft. The wings were meaty and fantastic. Fries were great. Burger was also really good. We will definitely be back!“
“We used to love going to Foggy Rock, so we were a bit sad when it closed. We were not disappointed with Mexican Rock. On the contrary, it was delicious, and the service was amazing. Our server Erick was kind and knowledgeable. Definitely coming back soon!“
“Our visit to Bistro Roca was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped in, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of culinary delight. Each dish we sampled was a masterpiece in its own right. The mussels in white wine sauce were a revelation, with a broth so divine I contemplated ordering an extra bowl to savor like soup. Our main courses, featuring Trout, Lobster Mac, and Scallops, were all executed flawlessly, each bite bursting with flavor and finesse. To cap off our meal, we indulged in the Apple Cherry Bread Pudding, a dessert that left us speechless with its perfect balance of sweet and tart flavors. The impeccable service only added to the charm of the evening, leaving us feeling pampered and well taken care of.Having lived in Charleston, SC for nearly two years, we can confidently say that our dining experience at Bistro Roca surpassed any meal we had during our time there. It was a culinary journey we won't soon forget, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience.“
