“I have been coming to this establishment for 4yrs now. A friend stopped by here and grabbed food before the club and she let me have some, and I have been coming back ever since. It’s family owned too which is wonderful. This place has the BEST lamb kabob on the east coast! I have been to about 8 businesses in this state alone and none have come close. Their chickpeas side are incredible. And my favorite platter to get is the Lamb & Fish combo. I dream about this food! lol. I don’t get to come as often as I live deep in NW DC so traffic can make the trip an easy hour drive. But on payday I like to make this trip because I honestly can’t get enough of it. The lamb has no chewy fat lingering, the fish is juicy and well seasoned, the tandoori bread is one of my favorite, and the chickpeas are well cooked and seasoned with a little spicy kick. I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else for traditional afghani food.“
“Timorian Restaurant offers absolutely delicious food with amazing flavors — especially the Qaboli and Qabergha Dagh! The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Their ice cream is a perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic Afghan cuisine!“

“Was thrilled to find this really good restaurant that serves one of my favorite plates——Gyro! The mixed lamb meat was freshly cooked, over perfectly cooked rice, and was accompanied by a lite green salad, and topped with their wonderful sauces! The Gyro plate was reasonably priced at $10.99! I would definitely purchase from them, again!“

“We had never tried Afghani food before, and I am so glad we did. The staff was so friendly and helpful with any questions we had. They recommended the Mini Taste of Arocostia for our first time. Everything was FANTASTIC!!! The food was cooked perfectly. The service was great! We never had to ask to have our beverages filled up, because they were already on top of it before we had to ask. They packed all our leftovers into boxes for us for our way home. We will definitely be going back!“

“This place is delicious. We only had a few days in DC, so we had to be selective where we ate. I don't think I've ever had straight Afgan food, but this place didn't disappoint. About 1/3 of their menu is vegan. They were very accommodating for vegan food, they made modifications even without asking.
If you are vegan, don't miss this gem if you are in DC.“

“It was worth the drive from DC to this VA to eat at Arlington Kabob’s. Not only was the food amazing but whom I believe to be the manager or owner, was exceptional, his customer service was excellent! Will definitely recommend and will be back.“

“This place took the number one spot for best meat in DC. We got the Afghani Platter which was like a full 5 course meap that was totally worth it and filled us up and more. Their lamb is so incredibly tender and just falls off the bone so well. incredibly perfectly cooked steak as well. Just 10/10 no notes. Would come here again!“

“Super yummy Afghan food and very affordable! I got the kabob combo with steak and chicken for around $20 during lunch, and it was so flavorful and filling. The owner (I think) was the nicest uncle ever — he even gave me free Afghan soup while I waited for my food. The chickpeas and salad on the side were fresh and tasty too.
The place itself is clean and cozy, just like the name says — literally a corner restaurant with a warm, welcoming vibe. Also, the owner speaks Spanish fluently which was so cool to see! Definitely coming back!“

“These are my Afghans so I don’t wanna ruin their reputation. But just giving my personal review. I have been to this restaurant 3-4 times now. Previous visits was good so kept coming. But my most recent visit they got one of the orders wrong so they had to send it back. Took too long. We almost cancel that one because everyone else was almost finished with their food and the food didn’t come almost 30-40 minutes. Also, this time I found a little bit of hair and I just wanted to inform them about it and they didn’t seem to apologize or offer a new plate or anything. They just said all of our people wear head coverings when I brought up that I found hair. From then on out, I lost my appetite. I usually order the ice cream as well, but my appetite was ruined.“
