“Stopped in here from a recommendation from a couple of bartenders at another bar. Very glad I did! Prices were great, pours excellent and Sam is the man!!! We had a couple of great conversations as he whipped around making sure all the patrons were taken care. He also gave me a handful of places to eat during my stay in DC. Not to mention that popcorn hit...the...spot!! I've been craving popcorn for a few weeks now but kept fighting the feeling. Welp, finally gave in and enjoyed some kernels with my tequilas! ANNNNNDDDDd they actually have Cali Squeeze on draft!!! OMG!! I fell in love with this beer a few weeks ago in Chicago but it was in a can and I basically drank everyone they had--over the course of a few days-ahem!! Anyways, great place to unwind after work or to pre-game or whatever. I'll be back there next time i hit that area.“

“If someone told you about Snappy's and you're looking it up to confirm that they're correct, just go. It's a great dive bar with an outdoor space for when inside gets too crowded. Shoutout to Shawn for being a great bartender!“

“Trusty’s is the kind of neighborhood dive bar everyone wishes they had nearby. It’s relaxed, unpretentious, and always delivers a good time. The staff is friendly, the drinks are affordable, and the crowd is a fun mix of locals and regulars.
The coolest part is the old-school bus upstairs — a quirky, unexpected space that makes the bar feel uniquely DC. It’s the perfect spot for grabbing drinks with friends, posting up for a casual night out, or just enjoying a no-frills, welcoming atmosphere.
If you’re looking for a comfortable bar with character (and zero pretense), Trusty’s is the place. A reliable favorite!“

“I popped in here for a quick look around and I was impressed. Raven’s Grill is a cool little hangout spot. I love the interior decor and the music selection was great. They even have a jukebox so you can pick your own tunes.
The beer list was fairly priced, I only got one beer and paid like 4 dollars. They are cash only, but they have a ATM inside for your convenience. The guy behind the bar was friendly and helpful as well.
They had ample seating, a cozy vibe, and a good selection of board games. They even had some bags of chips and other snacks behind the counter. This is a great hangout spot to come with friends for a chill night.“

A true neighborhood spot that somehow has multiple personalities. Need a casual weeknight dinner in Columbia Heights? Wonderland.
Looking for great weeknight food or drink specials? Wonderland.
Looking for brunch? The skillets are killer.
Looking for a safe, fun place to dance late at night? Wonderland has that covered.
The staff, and owners, who live in the neighborhood, are consistently kind, welcoming, and professional. That is a big part of why this place works so well.
And if you’ve never had the fried eggplant fries, fix that immediately.
One of the best bars in Washington, DC. One of the best spots in Columbia Heights for dinner, brunch, drinks, or a dance party.

“Got married on a Friday. We were doing brunch at one restaurant then College Football & more food at Last Call.
Gina the owner could not have been any more accommodating to our group. Needless to say they went above and beyond for us.
The drinks kept coming and the food was simple and great!
10/10....would definitely recommend having a gathering there!!!!“

“This is the perfect place to stop in and grab a quick bite. There is one table, and plenty of space inside of the bar next door to eat, but I love having the option to just grab-n-go when I want something really good to eat at home. There is a good amount of side options and entrees, and you can order from a couple different menus, similar to a ghost kitchen, if you're in the mood for a different type of cuisine.“
