Cozy small shop, the ice cream is delicious, and the staff have been nothing but wonderful the few times I've been. Highly recommend the pistachio ice cream, it beats most others I've had, as well as the tiramisu ice cream. It's also a great way to end a kingstreet ghost-tour, for the stickers they give grant discounts to this and a few other shops.
Today was the second time that I visited Dolci Gelati at Alexandria, VA, and I ordered a small cup of ice cream with Tiramisu and Pumpkin Pie flavours. The ice cream was fresh, and delicious! The service was good and the shop has a small patio in the back where you're able to sit and enjoy your ice cream within historic Alexandria. Thank you
Mmmn gelato!!! Tried the biscoff affogato and it was wonderful. Nice portion size and was creamy and filled with caramel. Went so well with the coffee inside of the affogato. Portion sizes were nice for the price and the price was reasonable for the area as this is a tourist-y area of the city. All the gelato flavors looked amazing. The place is dog friendly but as it is on the street there is no parking provided for the location. Luckily there is a paid parking garage...
