We enjoyed a really nice eat-in lunch at Kabul Kabob Express today. My partner ordered the Qabili Palau and received a perfectly prepared, heaping plate of this famous Kabul specialty, with lamb that was fall-off-the-bone tender and juicy, and a side of stewed chickpeas. For me, at the all-you-can-eat buffet I helped myself to delicious yellow dal, spinach, and simmered eggplant, a main course of chicken stew & brown basmati rice chalow, and a good bowl of rice pudding for...

Quick and friendly service. Food was good. However, while eating we saw roaches in two areas crawling across the floor in the dining area. We almost left because of that. Took our leftovers but put in trash as we left. I hope they are able to get control of their roach problem soon.

Kubideh and chicken kabob was $25. Gyro wrap (not pictured) was $13. Extra bread os $2.

Their Afghan cuisine is ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY delicious! I ordered the grilled lamp chops and chicken/beef kabob platter. It came with 2 difference styled of basmati rice (plain and sessoned); alot of food and a good value! They also have a buffet. Oh and their sides spinach and chickpeas are scrumptious! I highly recommend this place...check them out!
