Shooter McGee's is a restaurant known for its friendly service and wholesome food. The staff is attentive and often remembers repeat customers, creating a cozy atmosphere similar to "Cheers." The menu offers a variety of options, including popular dishes like juicy burgers, mango habanero wings, and generously portioned wings. The restaurant is kid-friendly and offers vegetarian options, with some dietary restrictions accommodated. Wheelchair accessibility is available, although the bathrooms are downstairs, and the stairs can be slippery. Despite its small space, the welcoming environment and attentive staff, especially the server Katie, contribute to a positive dining experience. Customers enjoy the quick service and tasty food, such as the fish and chips, fried shrimp, and crab/lobster cake, along with good sides like spinach and a variety of hot sauces for kids. Some areas for improvement include cleanliness and staff friendliness outside of Katie, as well as the cramped bar area. Overall, Shooter McGee's remains a cozy spot with friendly service, making it a place many customers want to return to.
