The food missed the mark to me based on the taste and seasoning. I had higher hopes compared to another restaurant I planned to attend. The waiter didn't come by to check on me after food was given, maybe because I was solo, but should have at least said something by the time I finished my food. Not a bad spot, but I wouldn't recommend compared to other restaurants in the immediate area.
We chose this restaurant because it was not far from the hotel. Arrived around 5:30 as we had a long drive to get to Alexandria. We were so pleased with everything. We started with the chargrilled oyster. And I had the three course special which was the chargrilled Branzino. It was delicious, the best I have ever had. Nice service, good bar, white linen tablecloths, pretty & intimate dining rooms on 1st flr with big spirit thru out. Mainly New Orleans style cuisine but salads and sandwiches are classic & good. Dining outdoors is great on a nice day.
