Went to eat at the restaurant. I was not feeling well. Place and tables were clean. The cheese pupusa was good but had small burnt areas edge and someplace on the side. I still ate it but they should pay attention not to burn it. Carne asada is solid. Taste great is well cooked and is a good portion. The rice was also soft tender and warm. Great flavor. The food is very tasty! We love their pupusas. But, we also love a lot of other things. The soups are my favorite. My kids love the chicken sandwich. We like to stop here before/with our martial arts class and it’s always a hit with the whole family.
If you’re anywhere near Annandale and haven’t been to Pupusa Express yet, you are seriously missing out.
This place is absolutely incredible. The food is consistently perfect—every single time I’ve been, it’s been 100% on point. The pupusas are packed with flavor, cooked just right, and honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. You can tell everything is made with care and pride.
