“I just love this place. Every time we visit Mayberry I always make sure to go to Barney's Cafe and get me a Barney Burger. I love the atmosphere and the employees are amazing and so friendly.“

“20-minute wait but well worth it. The ribs were absolutely fall of the bone delicious. So large of a quantity that I brought back more than half to Maryland. The shrimp appetizer was okay, but I am from Maryland, and I found them very plain (not steamed but boiled) and served cold. The cocktail sauce that came with them was fire though. Certain bites would get your nose a burnin. The beers were good and cold and the service was excellent. The crab dip and popcorn shrimp was also reported by joining family members as good and plentiful. If I am ever back in Mount Airy, I will certainly be back. Thanks for a great time 13-Bones.“

My wife and I done here, typically, once a month, and each visit is more enjoyable than the previous. The food has always been exceptionally good and our servers have been wonderful. “Dinner dining that rises to the exquisite setting. We were really looking forward to dinner during our stay at Primland because the menu looked so appealing. A little something for everyone, but lots of local character reimagined. The space itself is luxious and cozy, but still felt open sitting by the huge windows overlooking the golf course. Amazing artwork. Our server was amazing with wine suggestions and even did a small tasting between the top two which really helped me decide. Servings are manageable sizes so you don't have to worry with leftovers. The carbonara and sea bass entrees were so good, but our favorite of the night was the coconut cake with corn creme. Mind blowing. We also stopped in for breakfast, which was good, but really highlighted how special dinner is here. Worth the drive if you're not staying on site!“

“We had a funeral at the gravesite up the road. This was the closest place for us to gather for a meal. Our server was kind and very accommodating. We were a rather large group for this small cafe. There were a lot of options for food. Some tasty, and some, not as good as it could have been. This could be a lovely cafe, with more heart and effort put into it. We were thankful to have a place to meet up with our family. Thank you.“

“Wonderful dinner last night at Dosge City last night. We were a large party and our waiter did an amazing job taking care of all of us. We actually had a "reservation" at a different restaurant but when we arrived they informed us they would put us in the queue and for a party that large it was going to be a long wait. So we went to Dodge City who took a few minutes to put tables together to accommodate us. Treated us so well. food was amazing. Highly recommend and will definitely go back. Thank you so much for getting us in and taking such good care of us.“
