“We stayed in Dobson on our way to Myrtle Beach. This place was a cozy little diner nestled in a friendly town. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by several ladies who were as friendly as can be. The prices are super reasonable and the portions were big. Everything we had was very delicious. My sons friend was with us and got the chicken and waffles and he said they were the best tenders he has ever had. Their pancakes were delicious with a crispy golden edge. My oldest son and I got the tenderloin special for that morning and we both enjoyed it. My husband got the hungry man special and well he apparently wasn't that hungry because he couldnt finish it. But it was a great value. The biscuits are huge and the grilled home fries with onion are a definite must get.“

“We drove 2 hours on a Saturday. Arrived at 3:30 Pm. We were seated promptly and a waitress arrived at our table to take our drink and appetizer order. It arrived almost immediately. She returned to take our dinner order and it also arrived much sooner than we expected. Our party of 4 all ordered something different. “20-minute wait but well worth it. The ribs were absolutely fall of the bone delicious. So large of a quantity that I brought back more than half to Maryland. The shrimp appetizer was okay, but I am from Maryland, and I found them very plain (not steamed but boiled) and served cold. The cocktail sauce that came with them was fire though. Certain bites would get your nose a burnin. The beers were good and cold and the service was excellent. The crab dip and popcorn shrimp was also reported by joining family members as good and plentiful. If I am ever back in Mount Airy, I will certainly be back. Thanks for a great time 13-Bones.“

We came from Switzerland and arrived in Charlotte's airport by plane, and we were heading to Blacksburg for a congress. It was evening and we wanted to eat during the route. We want a steakhouse restaurant and found this restaurant .When we came in, the manager welcomed us and was very friendly to us. Also, there was an event that was happening every thursday which was the karaoke. When we got to our tables, We ordered rib-eyes and new york strips which was mind-blowing! The staff was very friendly to us when we talked to them.

Nothing was wrong except the restrooms and the Wi-Fi. But that doesn't impact me very much.

I want to thank the staff of the restaurant for the decoration, food and the ambience to feel like we're in Texas. We never had a restaurant like this in Switzerland for the past 10 years I've been there.

Would I come back? - Definitely!
