“Great Happy Hour specials on Oysters and the Steak Tartare is Amazing!“

“Just had a great lunch where we sat outside on the patio and had to order via QR code. Included in the notes about an allergy and they came out to tell us that one of the items we ordered couldn't be made without my allergy and there was still a chance of cross contamination. They removed the item and insisted on finding an acceptable substitute I could eat avoiding my allergies. I assume the gentleman who came out to speak with us was a manager, who understood allergies very well in party because he had a peanut allergy. Then after a great meal we left a hat and when I went back to get it, the same gentleman was RUNNING across the street to bring me the hat. That's incredible service and such care for those with allergies. I seldom feel safe eating out with my allergies and this place really put me at ease!“

“Just had beer. Good selection of German beers. 0.5L & 1L pours. Caught the Monday night trivia, so if that's your thing, they have it weekly. Would be interesting to see the beer garden patio in fall and not a hot, muggy night after a 100-degree heat index day.“

“My husband and I drove down from Loudoun county. This place was absolutely amazing. It had so much to remind us of my husbands home. We got a sandwich and than of course some haribo candy. Also some German goodies of meat. We will definitely be back again.“

“We went to Old Europe when we were seeking a German restaurant specifically because they seemed friendly to kids, and in fact they were.

All the dishes were delicious, and the service was prompt and friendly. Clearly very loyal to their staff. No problem accommodating a group of 10 on a Friday night. A member of our party who lived in Germany said the dishes were authentic. Another member of our party had an allergy to one of the unlisted parts of a dish, and they were able to replace the dish without the allergen free of charge. No automatically applied service charge“

“The food is consistent and very good quality. The service was not very good. They don't seem to understand basic ordering. Strangely, the beer and food are very German and that's where it ends. The music was heavy metal, the feel of the restaurant is odd, and there is nothing very authentic about it except for the food.“
