I feel sad that I only got one chance to eat here. I came the last week they were open. I got some delicious lamington dessert, but unfortunately didn't get to try their pavlova (they didn't have it available the time I was there). At least there is pavlova in the Java Grill restaurant in Old Town Alexandria. At Oz Restaurant, I ordered kangaroo sliders, emu wraps, sausage roll, and said lamington. Hey, hey, hey! (My salutation homage to Ashley lol.) Now, this was my first time at Oz, but I met Ashley almost a year and a half ago in Old Town, and promised I would come in a sequin blazer for the brunch lol. I left the sequin at home, but I'm so glad I came for dinner! First, let me just say that I looooooved this place! Loved, loved, loved it! We made a reservation for our large party and were seated immediately. At 10 am on a Saturday the place was fairly empty, so you would have no trouble just walking in, but it seemed to pick up around the time we left close to noon. The service was incredibly slow and poor (e.g. we had to ask for water several times and some of our orders were forgotten).
