A hidden gem! My family eats here all the time and everything we have tried has been great- sushi, ramen, udon, lunch bento boxes with different items. My husband dreams of their mackerel dish. And you get a LOT of food for a really good price. And they validate parking.
We found this place right before we moved out west in early 2023. We just returned to the area 2 months ago and I’m happy to see it’s still here. Food is very good and you can’t beat the price. $5 draft Kirin, Sapporo, and Asahi???? Yes please! I ordered the Philly Roll and the Spicy Miso ramen minus the corn and egg, then added spinach. It was fantastic. They also validate parking in the garage immediately behind.
I’ve been going to Takohachi for years and the sushi never fails. It’s low key and reasonably priced, yet has some of the best, freshest maki in town. Highly recommend to anybody looking for good sushi in the DMV. I’ve not had their other food but they have a huge menu of authentic Japanese dishes, so there’s something there for everyone!
