I was very disappointed with the French toast. It was rubbery and couldn't even absorb any syrup. I have had many meals at Cracker Barrel in various cities and always had a good experience and meal. This time meal was very less than desirable.
While I adore Cracker Barrel lately things just haven't been up to their standards, in my opinion. I was at this location yesterday (3/12/25) and had an early dinner. I ordered the Meatloaf, with mashed potatoes and corn, no gravy. While the Meatloaf was semi warm but tasty, the mashed potatoes were gray, stiff and was just a clump on the plate. Where were the creamy mashed potatoes I used to get? The corn wasn't sweet, tasted almost al dente from frozen. They were still...read full review
