“My daughter and I had lunch on Sunday. I enjoyed a perfect burger ! And , she had the cilantro chicken sandwich and truffle fries. All delicious !! The bread and dipping oil to start were perfect. It was our first time in and won’t be our last. Eager to try more menu items in the future. We are so glad to have Il Forno in Ashland !“

“Everything was good, I had the Cuban and unfortunately it didn't have pulled pork on it, but it was a good sandwich. My wife had the steak Philly which was spot on! We shared an order of cheese curds which were crispy and piping hot so those were very good. The only major complaint was the coleslaw, it was an extremely fine shaved cabbage (I'm talking the thickness of hair) and it tasted like just plain mayo with no lemon juice celery seed or anything in it and there was so little mayo that that it was almost dry. The service was good, unfortunately our server never told us her name? But she kept our water full and came around to check on us which she is supposed to do and did it well the atmosphere was great!! Small pub like atmosphere and very friendly staff (and helpful) I had been in restaurant for 30 years and owned 2 of them and for someone who has been in the business long enough to know that this is a place to definitely check out! We will definitely be back.“

“Wow! My first time at Anthony’s #2. I was welcomed by the manager (could have been the owner) and was told to sit wherever I want. The young man that served me had a fantastic attitude and did a great job. They started me with a hot, fresh baked roll and a salad. It was not a gourmet salad, but the lettuce was fresh and crisp with tomato, onions and green olives. Then the Chicken Parmesan came out over spaghetti with plenty of gravy ( yes, that is what grandpa Emilio called it) - two thick pieces of chicken. I had a glass of red wine and the bill WAS $24.00. This place is a 5 out of 5 stars for me.“

“This place is the absolute best in the Richmond surrounding area. The owner is really nice and his food is amazing. The amount of food you get for the price is another reason to come here. The cheesesteak is one of the bests I’ve ever had. I ordered an 8 inch and he gave me a 12 inch. I could easily split this up into 3 meals. Go support local business and enjoy 😍“

“When I entered Mimmo’s I immediately could smell the sauce in the air and noticed a few dishes on other patrons plates.I settled on chicken wings which were cooked to absolute perfection. Can tell the chicken was not frozen and had extra care taken in its preparation. They were steaming hot and so juicy and delicious they didn’t even need sauce.I landed on the club sand and fries due to how incredible it looked. And from the butter fried bread, to the cold cut lunch meat that touched the griddle long enough to melt my cheese; every component was made with love and care, and this was just a sandwich.I will definitely be back and plan to try some of that beautiful saucy aroma that fills the air.Bravo Mimmo!!“

“Excellent service at this location. Special order (sauce change and veggies instead of pasta) were not a problem. Sadly the broccoli had way too much garlic on it for me, so hubby got to enjoy it. And my napkin, which was nasty when I opened my roll up was replaced immediately.

Side note: Dear Olive Garden corporate, you need to do better with the clothe napkin thing or switch to paper.

“Decided to get takeout from here while petsitting for my folks in Ashland. While the Fettucine Alfredo was quite good, the Calamari could have used a little more flavor. I loaded the Pizza with Spinach, Jalapenos, Tomatoes, and Ricotta Cheese. Really good but too wet. Maybe they used frozen spinach and it thawed that way. It would've been better without all the extra moisture. Still- I highly recommend checking it out for reasonably priced Fettucine!“

“We had a pretty big party for the small building on New Year’s Eve, we have gone to big chain restaurants every year on New Year’s Eve for my sisters birthday and it was always terrible service. Everyone’s food would come out cold, they would make portions smaller cause a lot of us order the same, I want to definitely give you guys a HUGGGGE shoutout, everyone was HAPPY everyone’s food was perfect and hot and the server was awesome. She’s always there every time we go and she’s great. We really appreciate you guys making the space for our large group. And as ALWAYS THANK YALL FOR THE AMAZING FOOD! Definition of supporting local. The restaurant was highly recommended to us by local Richmond friends who, like ourselves, are seasonal New Yorkers who sought out the best local “New York Style” Pizza. Our experience was outstanding. First, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the professionalism of the staff was refreshing after a long day of work. We were welcomed with open arms by the owner who really made us feel very welcome. The menu offered quite a selection and variety of authentic Italian dishes. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, flavorful and stunning to look at. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were abundant. I highly recommend visiting this special restaurant and trying their brick oven pizzas which are available with an assortment of toppings.
