“Wow! My first time at Anthony’s #2. I was welcomed by the manager (could have been the owner) and was told to sit wherever I want. The young man that served me had a fantastic attitude and did a great job. They started me with a hot, fresh baked roll and a salad. It was not a gourmet salad, but the lettuce was fresh and crisp with tomato, onions and green olives. Then the Chicken Parmesan came out over spaghetti with plenty of gravy ( yes, that is what grandpa Emilio called it) - two thick pieces of chicken. I had a glass of red wine and the bill WAS $24.00. This place is a 5 out of 5 stars for me.“

“While it touts itself as a deli, this place has some great beers on tap. Seating is available at indoor or outdoor tables as well as at the bar.
Decent standard fare. Burgers. Deli sandwiches. A few other panini type sandwiches as well.
Fast service. Friendly staff. Decent prices.“

“My very first time ordering from Capriccios Italian Restaurant today, 1-19-2026. The pizza was amazing!! It reminded me of being back home in New York City, where I was born and raised. The crust was so very crunchy which I ADORED and The Pizza itself was nice and thin and had a perfect crunch to it and the sauce was extremely flavorful!!! … My first time trying this pizza and it will not be my last it was outstandingly delicious!!! “I ordered the Sicilian pizza for take-out, so service and atmosphere are really not important. However, as part of service, when I called in the order, it was very cheerfully taken, and they called me when it was ready. I like Sicilian pizza very much, but it's usually rather dry. This was anything but. The cheese is great, but the sauce is fantastic. I'd say it's the BEST Sicilian pizza I've ever had. I'm from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania originally, home of pan-fried Sicilian (which is a different thing altogether). But for lovers of very traditional Sicilian, I'd highly recommend this!“

“This place is the absolute best in the Richmond surrounding area. The owner is really nice and his food is amazing. The amount of food you get for the price is another reason to come here. The cheesesteak is one of the bests I’ve ever had. I ordered an 8 inch and he gave me a 12 inch. I could easily split this up into 3 meals. Go support local business and enjoy 😍“

“Our workplace recently had a catered lunch from Grapevine, and it was hands-down one of the best catered meals we’ve ever had. The chicken Alfredo was rich, creamy, and perfectly cooked, the rolls were soft and fresh, and the salad was crisp and flavorful—everything tasted homemade and thoughtfully prepared. Beyond the food, what truly sets Grapevine apart is the welcoming, family-like atmosphere. Whether it’s catering or dining in, you always feel like more than just a customer. The owners, management, and staff are all top notch, friendly, and genuinely care about your experience. We love going in to sit down because it truly feels like being part of the Grapevine family, and you can taste the pride they put into every meal. “Very good service and atmosphere. The food overall was very good but their trademark complimentary salad was not as expected. The dressing did not taste like it usually does. Not sure what changed with the salad dressing, but it was not what we usually get from the Olive Garden franchise.“

“My husband and I were stationed in Italy for 4 years. While there we learned that American interpretation of Italian food is way off. After we left Italy in 1995, we only found three places that serve meals that reminded us of the food we had in Italy. One in St. Louis, one in Swaffham, Norfolk in the UK, and one right here in Mechanicsville, VA. , and not a one is Olive Garden (which has nothing remotely similar to true Italian food). Angel is a master chef, he and his wife Carla prepare and serve meals that are made fresh daily and remind us of the meals we had in Italy. We have been going here for eight years and have enjoyed every meal. Yes we tried a couple other places in the Richmond area, however they do not even come close to the quality of fresh, and perfectly flavored meals. We decided no where else is as good. Pasta House is a hidden gem and a well kept secret.“

“Haven't ate here in a while. Got the ham and chesse sub which was great. Son got the personal pizza which filled him up. The wife also got a sub. All three of us ate for 45 bucks. Which isn't bad. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Checked in on us multiple times.“

“Visit today 7/18/25 at 5 pm , party of 3 people. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in the door! Food was great, atmosphere felt authentic. Our lady who served us was so sweet and kind. “As New Yorkers we really know our pizza and Italian cuisine. We tend to have high standards of expectation. That Is why we were pleasantly surprised when we visited with Apollo’s Pizza. The restaurant was highly recommended to us by local Richmond friends who, like ourselves, are seasonal New Yorkers who sought out the best local “New York Style” Pizza. Our experience was outstanding. First, the atmosphere of the restaurant and the professionalism of the staff was refreshing after a long day of work. We were welcomed with open arms by the owner who really made us feel very welcome. The menu offered quite a selection and variety of authentic Italian dishes. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, flavorful and stunning to look at. The ingredients were fresh and the portions were abundant. I highly recommend visiting this special restaurant and trying their brick oven pizzas which are available with an assortment of toppings. The great thing is we can also order out on nights when all we want to do is go home to relax. This really is an awesome place.“

“My daughter and I had lunch on Sunday. I enjoyed a perfect burger ! And , she had the cilantro chicken sandwich and truffle fries. All delicious !! The bread and dipping oil to start were perfect. It was our first time in and won’t be our last. Eager to try more menu items in the future. We are so glad to have Il Forno in Ashland !“
