“Food was good and service was excellent! The guys were really sweet and respectful! And I have to say , with the stupid division in the world today, the guys made us feel VERY comfortable. Being black and stopping in small towns in this area can be scary .Sad to say, but its just our reality. And another guy held the door for us when we left. “Traveling for Florida to Pennsylvania, we happened to find “Happy Cinco DeMayo”! Wow…..What a Great Restaurant!!! Fantastic, Homemade, Authentic Mexican Food, the best we have ever had! This should be a “Destination” stop for anyone traveling through this area. Conveniently located at I-77 & I-81, it is easily located. Do not pass up this Mexican cuisine that is far above all the rest. Oh, and almost forgot to mention, “Very Reasonably priced and the Service was “Grrrrreat “! “Now THIS is a chinese restaurant! I didn't write a review on the day I went there, but after trying something else today, I just HAD to!
The staff were friendly, the food came out fast, and the atmosphere was good. Maybe a little over the top.. but they chose a theme and stuck with it.
Now.. onto the food.. Like I said.. it was fast. We must have been sitting there no more than 10 minutes when our food came out. My husband got the orange chicken, and although I thought it didn't have a really strong flavor (at that time), at least it tasted good and you could actually taste the flavor they were going for! The place I just visited had orange chicken that was incredibly salty.
I got the steak chop suey at Peking, and it was delicious! Way better than the over salted travesty I just had. Another thing I am impressed with that I didn't realize at the time.. the portion size.. both places I went to (Peking... and the place I went to today) had similar prices.. however the place I went to today had portions half the size!
Overall we had a far better experience a couple nights ago at Peking, and we will definitely be back!”

“Peace in the Valley was a great show with excellent singers. Our group enjoyed the show very much! The food was another story. The broccoli slaw was full of tough stalk- like pieces with no flavor. The Shepherds pie was just ok but, disappointed that it was served as an entree at such a nice event.
Tea was very good.
The servers had a lot of people to serve and feel that extra help would have made serving easier. This is the first time that our dinner plates were left on the tables when the show started.
Hoping my comments will be addressed because we love to come to the Wohlfahrt Haus.”

“They have consistently been excellent in customer service, coffee making, and just anything you can think of. They have always been so nice that I feel as though I’m cheating on them when I get coffee while out of town. In fact, today I got a complimentary coffee without asking because they made one incorrectly. It made my day and I am extremely appreciative of this place!”

“The food & service are excellent HOWEVER, the music is annoying & too loud. We had a large group recently. We had to yell across the table to be heard over the annoying music. This is a huge problem both inside & on the outdoor patio. We have complained every time we eat there & are told " there is no way to turn it down" It seems as if the volume has been turned up recently. Enjoyable music is in the ear of the beholder; not everyone appreciates the same genre of music. Unless we learn the music has been turned down 🙂 or turned off😁 we will not be back.”

“This is not a traditional Dunkin. It is a dunkin donut case and several hot & iced coffee options in various dunkin flavors; inside of the Pilot gas station. The downside is you have to make your own beverage BUT you get to make it to your liking!! Very clean establishment, bathrooms, parking lots. Extremely friendly and helpful staff!”

“Friendly staff and the guy cleaning tables was very nice and friendly talkative and even asked if he could get us anything better then the one on 601 in mount airy our food was right and nobody had to run out of the restaurant to get us to wait because they forgot part of the order like the one on 601 plus we were not charged an upcharge on the drink for the meal like the one on 601”

“At present, they are highly short-staffed, close @17:00 (5p) every night, hoping they can get that up to 20:00(8p) soon. The food has been good if you luckily get there during the hours they're open, and they're borrowing employees from other stores, so it's a mixed-bag. However, they have seemed qualified (and that's 4yrs of my own Subway experience talking). However, I'm kinda ticked that Google maps reported them open till 22:00(10p), and after i drove past several other good Subways and this was the last one I'd consider before reaching home, then find they are not fulfilling the hours promised and the gas station additionally put the men's room out of order after I'd also passed by other opportunities for that. The attendant additionally jumped on another customer (unprofessionally) for using it anyway, and they are also short-staffed and thus very likely slightly short-fused. In an area with plenty of good service workers, they seem to demonstrate they don't want to pay for good help.”

Serenity went above and beyond, she made sure that me and my family each had a crown and helped us to fit them to our rather large heads. When we arrived, she said “thank you for choosing Burger King, where YOU rule!” That statement alone made my night. “this Arby’s is located inside a Pilot truck stop in Wytheville. I like to stop here on the way to South Carolina. This truck stop is very clean & well managed & so is Arby’s !! the food is great & so is the service !! Regina is awesome & always smiling 😊 I enjoy stopping here”

“Pulled up to the drive-thru, ordered a 10 piece nugget meal and a chocolate chunk cookie and asked for it to be heated. Just want to say that was one of the friendliest drive thru experiences Ive ever had. Quick and friendly service, food was all good, and they made sure to let me know they had heated my cookie, 😄. Overall great spot to stop by and grab food for the road.”
