Stopped by today to do a quick tasting and see what all the fuss was about. Wow, did not disappoint, and exceeded the expectation friends set. Sarah is super helpful, reads the customer needs, and delivers superb service. We look forward to adding Chestnut Oak to the selection at Jack’s Shop Kitchen!
Nice ambiance . Wines not wide selection of dry to sweet. Quick service. But server picked up and offered and extra sample of a sweeter wine. Winner....bought a bottle to go. Cudos, she heard me.
We stopped in because we were told they had a Tannat. Sarah greeted us and, upon asking about the Tannat, she immediately opened one. It was delicious- all of the characteristics of great Tannat. We then did the red flight. Absolutely some of the best reds we have tasted in Virginia. And Sarah was a great hostess-knowledgeable and very accommodating. Love this place.
