Charming, friendly winery with excellent wine and welcoming hosts in a beautiful setting with rolling hills. I was driving so I had the sample of only four wines. All wonderful, my personal favorite was the Grenache! Definitely hope to come back - it makes a great day trip from DC!
The vineyard is set in the beautiful Virginia countryside, among wonderful rolling hills. The tasting room atmosphere is amazing with gorgeous decor, and the tasting room manager is just as fantastic and knowledgeable about the wine being produced there. Oh, and I cannot forget to mention that the wine is also just as fantastic!
We showed up shortly before they closed, but Dee welcomed us anyway, telling the story of the vineyard and how her family came to own the property. Our dog was welcomed in, as well. We had a lovely time sampling delicious reds!!
