“First time going to uncle Al’s and it was phenomenal! My kids and I used to love going to his hot dog stand and they were ecstatic to find out he had his own restaurant! It did not disappoint! The Spider-Man hot dog was superb! The kids finished off with some ice pops and I had the most delicious lemon cake! We will be back soon!“

We're from just over the line in North Carolina, but often shop in Danville and this restaurant is a bit of a drive away from ALL of the major shopping areas in the city, but DEFINITELY worth the drive!! I swear the CRISPY HOMEMADE ONION RINGS alone are worth the drive!!😁They greet you from the time you walk in the door, which is really welcoming! Their food is DELICIOUS and VERY reasonably priced!!😋 It's decorated with various metal license plates and signs!! The food service workers are lined up and working with their own little system which makes their service VERY QUICK from order to serving, which is fascinating to watch! They have a nice VARIETY of food which you can see by the menu in my pictures! They even have soft serve ice cream & homemade milkshakes! “I ordered my food online to Chick-fil-A and the ,, , Mall in Danville. I live about a mile from the mall. We we came straight home. My food was Cole and couldn't be eaten the only thing good about the meal was the tea. The order number was 7909 curbside blue Chevrolet his telephone number i the total was $10.77 and the time was 5:57. Instead of holding our meal until it got cold it should have brought our meal on, out there cuz the girl had everybody's meal at one time and there's no way that the meal was stay warm when you waiting for other. Overall the order and food was terrible.“

“Hot and fresh food made to order. Milkshakes were good too. Also, shoutout to the young man on the cash register today this afternoon (1-2ish pm). I wish I had gotten his name to give him a proper compliment but I still wanted to brag on him. He was very polite, helpful, and considerate. “I have food allergies, which many people do! one of the things that I am allergic to is cheese. I needed to grab some lunch today on my lunch break. I am trying to eat healthier these days so, I tried to get a salad with no cheese from the Wendy’s on South Boston Road in Danville, VA and I was told... “sorry ma’am, all of our salads are pre-made and you cannot get a salad without cheese.” I guess Wendy’s is not allergy friendly and they have horrible customer service!!!! On the other hand, I went up the road to the Burger King on South Boston Road and went through the drive through and told them about my allergies and asked for a salad without cheese and they made me a fresh made-to-order salad right then and there! :) Good job BK on South Boston Road for your awesome customer service!!! :)))Guess at Burger King you can really have it your own way! :))) � � to the Wendy’s on South Boston Road. “I was on business in the Danville, VA area.
As soon as I saw the old school, retro hat signage at this Arby's, I knew I would be unable to pass it by.

The ladies working the morning of 28 January 2025 were some of the nicest folks I have encountered in a while.
I was in about 20 minutes before the lunch rush started.

Made me feel welcome like an old friend & a VIP, though I have never been there before.

My food was fresh, hot & tasty.
I got the mozzarella sticks, small & a drink.

It was so good, I had to ring the bell on the way out!
I had never rang the Arby's bell before at any location.

The store was clean, as was the bathroom.
Well stocked in condiments & bathroom supplies.

I will stop there again next trip to Danville!

“I sometimes come here to buy pretzels for lunch. I usually just get the plain ones. The others except for cinnamon and sugar don't come with a lot of seasonings on it. Be careful of buying stale pretzels. I had this happened to me once when I came too early. Coming around lunch time should be safe.“

“This particular Taco Bell is the only one I go. Way back in the early nineties it used to be a rotisserie chicken place called Kenny Rogers named after the singer but neither here nor there the people that work there actually care and their food is really good in the restaurant is clean“

“We went through the drive thru only waited a few minutes and the lady who took our order was super nice and very thorough. We got to the window the young lady greeted us and smiled and handed us our food. The food was fresh and hot and very delicious and I would definitely return to this location. Thanks for the great service and food it was awesome!!!“

“I want to take a moment to commend Tashaan Logan for the outstanding customer service I received during both of my visits to the Hardee’s on Riverside. Tashaan not only provided excellent service but also got my order right each time. We've all experienced poor customer service at different places, but since I've been going to this Hardee’s, I haven't had a single complaint about the service or the food. “My favorite Hardee's of them all. Same employees, family atmosphere. Food is always hot and the store manager is the SWEETEST. Cook has been there for 30 years and store manger for 26 years. What else can I say, if you're in Tightsqueeze this would be my first choice for fast food!“

“I ordered a mcflurry, a pumpkin spice latte and a cheeseburger today. The mcflurries now come in a small, scalloped paper cup that are very flimsy. Not only was it a mess when the unfriendly girl at the window handed it to me, but she was holding it at the bottom which is the only firm location to hold it, so I had to grab it near the top which is such flimsy paper, it squeezes even more icecream out of the scalloped dips. I have no idea why they went to smaller, flimsy, scalloped cups, but it was a terrible idea. The girl at the ordering window, was newer and did her best. She didn't catch my order a couple times because she was dealing with a customer paying at her window, but she did apologize and was friendly, so I didn't mind. She didn't offer me a receipt though, which I would have liked. The pumpkin spice latte I got had no flavoring in it so it was just a hot milk and coffee drink. Very disappointing visit today.“

“I love the food here and the nice customer service. I've previously worked for McDonald's in 2019 and would like to return but to this location as it's closer than the one in Ringgold. I've tried to call and someone answers but the phone hangs up when I say hello. I would really love to work here and be a part of the McDonald's family again if someone will reach out to me!

“First visit to this McDonald's. Place is spacious, spotless and well run. The staff are caring and considerate, but the food I have had here was pretty average, run-of-the-mill. Nothing spectacular or bad.

All in all, quite good. Recommended!“

“My family comes to this firehouse location every Sunday. We rarely miss a Sunday. RARELY. I always have such a complicated order, as I like to really customize my Italian sandwich. This location has never complained about my complicated order and they have never, not even once, gotten my order incorrect.“

“This Arby's had no right to be as good as it was. The au jus was SO good. We also got the pulled pork sandwich with an amazing spicy sauce, jalapeno poppers, curly fries, sweet tea, and orange cream shake. The shake was just okay, but it wasn't the employees' fault - I just didn't like the orange soda used. Everything else was SO good, and I wasn't even starving. I'll be making a detour for this Arby's whenever I pass by Danville for the rest of my life.“

“Went to this subway today to have a late lunch. These woman all are awesome, such impeccable service, kind to each and every guest, made amazing sandwiches. The store was clean and tidy. “I've seen so many times how actually good the chicken tenders were here, and I really wanted to try them. I also never had LJS and it's always been a meme of how bad they are. I got the fish and chicken combo with fries and cheese curds, honestly not bad. My only complaint is how greasy the fish was and a lack of salt on the fries, but everything was still decent, the chicken is genuinely good too, and I don't know what beautiful soul made the sweet tea, but it's literally the top 5 best tea I've had at a fast food place. The girl at the window was really nice too!!
TLDR: chicken good, fish greasy, sides needed 25% more salt but still yummers, tea was blessed by a leaf goddesses omg“

“We stopped at this Subway on Rte 29 in Chatham near Tightsqueeze, VA because we were looking for a clean mobility friendly companion assistance restroom—a rarity on rural highways! A billboard advertises clean restrooms at this Subway location and the bathrooms were clean, open space individual mobility friendly bathrooms we could make do with and a walker could fit. There was handicap parking at the door and a few different people offered to assist my father walking in with Parkinson’s. The manager and staff were friendly and took pride in the clean restaurant. The sandwiches were adequately filled with a variety of fresh ingredients. We even stopped again on our way home. A good restaurant to keep in mind when traveling between Lynchburg and Danville, Greensboro or Charlotte!
