“Hello, I just went through the drive-through to get sweet tea for my wife and two-year-old son. As I pulled into the parking lot, the woman at the podium handing out receipts gave me a dirty look, possibly because of my loud exhaust. I proceeded to the line to order my beverage, and while I waited, she handed receipts to the two cars in front of me but stared at me and my car with the same look. She didn’t offer me a receipt, which my wife needs to scan for points on an app that helps us financially. I had to ask for one when I got to the window to pick up my drink. I noticed this number on the receipt, which belongs to the operator, Jason Umberger. I believe the employee may need some coaching on maintaining professionalism and not letting personal judgments affect her behavior at work. As a manager for a company in Virginia that sponsors VCU, the Flying Squirrels, and many others, I understand the importance of professional conduct in the workplace. This was 8/22/23 @ 6:19PM.“

“Absolutely phenomenal experience at CHIC’N CRAVE in Petersburg! I placed a large order just 30 minutes before closing—four chicken sandwiches, a 20-piece chicken tender meal, and their amazing honey biscuits—and everything was fresh, hot, and made to order. That kind of care and quality, especially so close to closing time, really impressed me. The food? Top-tier. The chicken sandwiches were perfectly crispy and flavorful, and the tenders were juicy with a golden crunch. But the honey biscuits stole the show—soft, buttery, and just the right touch of sweetness. What really stood out, though, was the service. The owner personally greeted me with a warm welcome, and you could tell they genuinely care about their customers. It’s rare to find that kind of hospitality and pride in both food and service. “Wife wanted to slide by the ice cream place and then the Short Pump location here for dinner. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. I saw the “Red Beard’s Ghost” sauce and was contemplating it on some wings. The guy at the counter gave me a sample, and it was smooth with just a little heat. Flavorful. The ghost lured me in. I thought, no problem, I can handle this. I was wrong. So wrong. At home, I bit into a wing and suddenly I wasn’t in my kitchen anymore. I was on the deck of a pirate ship in the middle of a hurricane. My tongue was battling a flaming cutlass, my eyes were crying mutiny, and my soul was begging for mercy. Somewhere in the distance, I swear I heard a pirate laughing. This sauce didn’t just sneak up on me……it cannonballed into my mouth and raised its flag on my taste buds. Within minutes, I was sweating like I owed Red Beard back taxes in doubloons. 10/10 staff. 10/10 wings. 15/10 chance of seeing visions of pirate ghosts in your living room if you order this sauce. Would recommend… if you’re brave enough. So glad I had ranch to finish it all of… but now I’m scared of what will follow…dun dun duuun“

“They have freshly made corn tortillas chips that are delicious. Ordered the tortilla chips with a red salsa and white queso dip. Everything was tasty. I ordered the Mi Rey platter that comes with the ribeye steak, grilled shrimp, and the piri quarter leg chicken. Got a side of avocado and the Jamaica drink. Everything was five stars: the food and the service. I will definitely need to return and try some desserts.... 😋“

“Went through the drive thru for a simple chicken sandwich and sweet tea. There were at least 8-9 cars in line ahead of me.
There were more but I couldn't see around the building. However, the employees at ChicFilA are always fast, friendly and very efficient! They had someone outside taking orders and collecting payment for our food. I was able to get my sandwich and tea in record time; considering how many cars were ahead of me. SUPER JOB TO ALL THE EMPLOYEES! 😁“

Interesting that it only had two unisex restrooms. No urinals, so that could be a problem for females as guys are gross.

Other than that, great outdoor seating.“

“I work at a nearby building and come here for breakfast/lunch many times a week (not the healthiest I know I’m working on meal prepping okay lol) and they’re always kind and courteous and I never really have issues. Today I placed a pick up order for my breakfast and someone apparently just took it before I got in. Even though I came after breakfast had ended they did their very best to make sure I got the meal I ordered anyway and took the time to mend the situation even in a clearly very busy time. Decided they earned this review for that haha“

“Chicken fingers are good..get 4 tenders and fountain drink toast and coleslaw slaw for around $13..the lemonade is truly horrible..tastes like watered down Gatorade..I asked them did they run out of sugar that day. They said no its always tasteless“

“This Chic-fil-A is located in Chippenham hospital. The service is great. The staff is always friendly, the place is always clean and our food always hot. This is my go to when I don't feel like going all the way to the Forest Hill location.“

“Bb.q chicken is insanely delicious and a place we’ve gone back to over the years. I’m glad there’s one in Richmond now. Their secret sauce is the BEST. But like other Bb.q chickens, their quality is a bit inconsistent (meat toughness, if it’s cooked thoroughly or dry, freshness of fry). Which is generally understandable and perhaps is an indicator of it not being default frozen food a la fast food, but it is NOT a cheap meal so it is a bit disappointment when like 2/3 times it’s excellent and 1/3 times it’s just okay.“

“I never thought the chicken finger idea was going to make as much waves as it did. I've frequent this location mainly due to working late hours they are still open. I can still get dinner and feel good before I lay down for bed. My favorite and only item I order is the Caniac Meal. Its just the right chicken amount although they cut back on the amount but still does the job. At times, the later you go the slower the service but you can't complain. Fresh food is not fast but cooked to order so I can enjoy it when I get home. I told my parents about it. They shrugged me off and said I dont like it. Now they frequent the location as they realized you get a good deal on the combo meals that are right just for what you need. Any problems in the past especially large orders, they fix it with a smile and what keeps me coming back is customer service. You will enjoy the chain. Make sure to let us know what you like as every day isn't perfect but that means the company is just fixing whatever they find broken doesn't make them bad at all!“

The location is incredibly convenient, making it a great spot to grab a quick meal when you're on the go.

As always, the food did not disappoint. The Chick-fil-A sauce is, without a doubt, one of the best sauces I’ve had at any fast-food chain—it’s perfectly tangy and creamy, and it pairs perfectly with just about everything on the menu.

I went for the chicken strips, and they were absolutely delicious. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside—just the way a chicken strip should be.

The seasoning was spot on, and they were cooked to perfection. It’s great to see that even in the fast-food world, Chick-fil-A delivers such high-quality, flavorful food.

What also stands out is the friendly and efficient service. The staff was attentive and made sure the experience was pleasant from the moment I walked in.

“My friend and I visited this restaurant a few days ago. Although I have noticed that the Cool Wrap has not been prepared in the same way as always, evidenced by a lesser amount of chicken, the customer service we received was wonderful! In particular, Jacob and Tazia were gracious and interactive offering friendly conversation and replacement sandwiches. These two employees have gone above and beyond what many consumers today readily experience. Kudos to both of them and hope I have the pleasure of seeing them again in the future!“
