“We were in town visiting for a conference, and we found the restaurant online. We headed to the restaurant, but when we got there the owner explained that the restaurant had just closed for the evening. He gave us a few recommendations on other places to eat, and we started to search for an Uber. A few minutes later, the owner, Tysean, opened the door and offered to go back in the kitchen and cook something for us. We couldn’t pass that offer up. We waited for a few minutes, and he brought us out some of the best chicken I’ve eaten in a long time along with some, nicely seasoned potato wedges and hot buttery honey biscuits. Along with some honey mustard dipping sauce and sweet tea to wash it all down, we had an amazing meal. I’ll definitely be back, and you should visit if you are in Richmond.“
“This place has absolutely phenomenal food with different levels of spiciness to suit your tastes. Pro-tip: DO NOT RUB YOUR EYES AFTER PICKING HANGRY SPICE! When they say it's spicy, they mean it! Other than that experience, I've always enjoyed their food.“

“Dropped by this Hispanic spot and wow, their “Mondongo” soup hit the spot – just the right kick of spice without burning your taste buds off, perfect for the Richmond cold days. I threw in some rice, onions, cilantro, and lime, and it was next-level good. My wife had the fajitas and they were also amazing. Can't wait to hit up their bread selection next time. “I got the Chicken Fiesta soup and the Jalapeño Holly chicken salad…it was my first time there. I was not at all impressed with the soup! It was MUSHY and Watery….however; The chicken salad was very flavorful….I didn’t have to add any pepper or salt (lol) and I ate every drop! It made up for the soup I had to trash…..AND I’m a picky eater! It was pretty good for the first time (and I’m basing that off of the chicken salad alone) - I will definitely try again though…but not the soup.“
