“Parallel has become one of our favorite go-to spots for happy hour. The atmosphere is relaxed yet lively. We absolutely love the duck fat fries. They are crisp and thick cut. The fried pickles are also very good and if the kids are with us we get the chicken and waffles and kids mac n cheese. It's an amazing gourmet mac n cheese and the fresh fruit side is picture perfect every time.

Montepulciano has become one of our favorite wines. I also enjoy the pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc in the summer. We weren't fans of the chardonnay, but the rest of the wines more than make up for it. Great old fashioned - well balanced.

Service has always been good. All the servers are friendly and knowledgeable about the drink and food menus. We love the atmosphere as well. Very rustic and down to earth.“

“Tuscarora Mill (Tuskies) Restaurant went above and beyond to make our son's High School Graduation lunch special (he is first-generation), even though i only booked a reservation the day before. They phoned me to check his name and printed out special menus as a keepsake and gave him a gift at the end. They were attentive and understanding that by the time he came to eat the stress and excitement of the day suddenly hit him and he was exhausted affecting his appetite. They happily got him a box to take it home without any judgement. The food was tasty and well cooked and staff helpful and kind (they even gave us a choice of table). The main dishes are on the pricier side, so it is why we chose it to mark his occasion. However, we will be back for drinks and appetisers in future.“

And the pizza toppings were extremely skimpy. So we stopped ordering from them. Yesterday we decided to give them another try. Glad we did - the Quattro Formaggi pizza and the big steak sub were both delicious. Of course, based on previous experiences with skimpy toppings, I paid for extra amounts of each of the cheeses on the pizza. Do not know what it would be like without paying for extra amounts of toppings.“

It's just like walking into your own Grandma's home and Mona makes you feel that way too! We were traveling from out of town to a customer's location near here and were looking for a different dining experience. Boy, Mona did not disappoint! We ordered Baba Ganouj, Beef Shwarma and Lamb with Rice. For dessert we had Rice Pudding and Knafe Bel Jibne. The smoke on the pitas and Baba Ganouj was amazing and I don't like smoke on ANYTHING! I don't care for lamb but tried my business partner's meal and LOVED IT! Mona has definitely won me over hands down! The Shwarma was like nothing I have ever had before. And as a BIG pickle lover, this was a hit! The Rice Pudding was very delicate and a perfect ending to a perfect meal. We ordered the Knafe Bel Jibne as we were very curious. It is a warm sweet treat with a very slight hint of savory which comes from the pistachios - YUM! Mona cooks everything herself to order with LOVE! “Food was great for the value, we are sushi fans so we really enjoyed the varieties, fish was fresh, slices of scallops were a bit thin but still sweet, although did taste a little bit of fishiness.. sweet shrimp was not big but amazingly sweet, tuna belly ( Toro) was so good and oily like the way it's supposed to. Ikura ( salmon caviar) second to none, a la carte sushi places doesn't even have this quality. there are 10 sushi chef there you're not going to get the same thing all the time but I don't have an issue with that.. generally it's pretty standard things with sauce may tastes a bit different because each chef may put on different amount.. we eat sushi everywhere even in major cities like California, Chicago, Dallas and New York, we enjoy ayce sushi, Bottom line is $35 is a great value for what they offer.“

“Ottoman Kitchen catered an iftar dinner that our church hosted for Turkish friends. The doner was the best I’ve had. The salad was very nice, with no brown or wilted lettuce leaves. Everyone at our event seemed to comment on how delicious the food was. The amount of food was quite generous, so anyone who wanted seconds could refill their plates. Very well done!“
