“Parallel has become one of our favorite go-to spots for happy hour. The atmosphere is relaxed yet lively. We absolutely love the duck fat fries. They are crisp and thick cut. The fried pickles are also very good and if the kids are with us we get the chicken and waffles and kids mac n cheese. It's an amazing gourmet mac n cheese and the fresh fruit side is picture perfect every time.

Montepulciano has become one of our favorite wines. I also enjoy the pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc in the summer. We weren't fans of the chardonnay, but the rest of the wines more than make up for it. Great old fashioned - well balanced.

Service has always been good. All the servers are friendly and knowledgeable about the drink and food menus. We love the atmosphere as well. Very rustic and down to earth.“

“This is for the Silver Diner in Chantilly,VA. We live a little over 2 hours away but stopped here for dinner after car shopping and we were not disappointed! “I really love this place. Their food is so well flavored, and in my personal opinion it tastes like home. I’m Mexican so it reminds me of the food I grew up with. The cashier at the front is super nice and helpful, and the cooking staff is great too.

I really love their Carne Asada plate (number 24). The steak is always done to perfection and seasoned so well, and their rice and beans are delicious. Their homemade tortillas are just as good, with a great consistency that pairs perfectly with any protein.

“We went to Tuscarora Mill for my husband’s birthday weekend and had such a good dinner. The building and atmosphere are fantastic, the service was excellent, and the food lived up to the reputation. “For several years, the pizzas from Great Falls Deli Italiano were wonderful. Then the problems started - always something unsatisfactory with every order. And the pizza toppings were extremely skimpy. So we stopped ordering from them. Yesterday we decided to give them another try. Glad we did - the Quattro Formaggi pizza and the big steak sub were both delicious. Of course, based on previous experiences with skimpy toppings, I paid for extra amounts of each of the cheeses on the pizza. Do not know what it would be like without paying for extra amounts of toppings.“

I genuinely wish the restaurant offered online reservations through a platform such as OpenTable. Being able to reserve a table ahead of time would make an already great restaurant significantly more convenient.

And that’s really the only reason I’m giving Ashburn Pub four stars instead of five.

The staff? Five stars.
The drinks? Five stars.
The food? Five stars.
The prices? Five stars.
The seating availability? That’s where the extra star gets lost.

Ashburn Pub has everything you want from a great neighborhood establishment: excellent food, fantastic drinks, genuinely friendly service, and prices that won’t leave you wondering whether you accidentally paid for the building.

Four stars from me—but if they ever add more seating or implement a reliable reservation system, this would easily be a five-star experience.

Until then, plan ahead and be prepared to compete with the rest of Ashburn for a table or a seat at the bar if you’re especially lucky that day.“

It’s a cozy little nook with a genuinely friendly atmosphere — the kind of place that feels like a getaway even when you’re just grabbing lunch or getting some work done. “Fun story.

Day one in DC for my nephew’s wedding and I got an Uber to pick my cousin up from her hotel.

Turns out I put the wrong address in and got dropped off to some random hotel. Uber driver had already left and I was embarrassed enough that I just walked out of the wrong hotel’s lobby forgetting the fact that I didn’t have any data.

After a few minutes walk in the typical pedestrian hostile roads of America, I saw the bright lights of Longhorn and thought this place must have WiFi. And they did. Ordered Uber again using the free WiFi and avoided disaster.

Sometimes you don’t have to step in the restaurant to appreciate their service and I’m grateful for this.

“OMG! Where do I start...From the unassuming quaint colonial home to the wonderful welcoming of Mona herself. You will fall in love with Mona and this place immediately! It's just like walking into your own Grandma's home and Mona makes you feel that way too! We were traveling from out of town to a customer's location near here and were looking for a different dining experience. Boy, Mona did not disappoint! We ordered Baba Ganouj, Beef Shwarma and Lamb with Rice. For dessert we had Rice Pudding and Knafe Bel Jibne. The smoke on the pitas and Baba Ganouj was amazing and I don't like smoke on ANYTHING! I don't care for lamb but tried my business partner's meal and LOVED IT! Mona has definitely won me over hands down! The Shwarma was like nothing I have ever had before. And as a BIG pickle lover, this was a hit! The Rice Pudding was very delicate and a perfect ending to a perfect meal. We ordered the Knafe Bel Jibne as we were very curious. It is a warm sweet treat with a very slight hint of savory which comes from the pistachios - YUM! Mona cooks everything herself to order with LOVE!
