“It was amazing. They was fast. Restaurant was not loud or over crowded. Service was the best. I love that place. The only thing I would change is when I order cheese enchiladas I want the white sauce not red.

“My cousin and I stopped on our way home to WV. Looking for something different. It was the absolute best experience!! Food was phenomenal and the service was exceptional!! We definitely noted the location for our next trip! Make sure you try the Apple Blondie! 😋“

“Beautiful spot for brunch, dinner, or cocktails. Classy with great outdoor seating. Food is good and came out quickly. It’s on the second floor in this historic old hotel building with a great view of downtown Lexington from the covered patio.“
“I ordered the local root vegetables pickled in house, fall salad without parmigiana, and the sourdough funghi pizza with red sauce instead of herbed cream. It was all so very delicious! I wish I lived locally but thankful I discovered it! Whenever we visit Lexington, I will definitely eat at Heliotrope?“

“The past two times we’ve visited, Laura has taken care of us and it has been the best experience! We were here a little bit ago before the fall leaves came in and I told my fiance, we HAVE to go back to see the Mountain View’s and the trees now that it’s fall and the icing on the cake- Laura was our server, again! Seriously our favorite place in Lexington to get a beer, sit outside, and just enjoy!“

“My mom and I were out and decided to get lunch at Applebee's. Our waitress, a manager, but I can't remember her name, waited on us. She was so polite, informative, and very helpful! We just moved here from NJ, and she was telling us about the area and all the great features around. It was really nice to have someone spend a few minutes out of their busy day to help us get to know the area. The food was amazing, but our waitress was the best part of our visit!!!!“

“Being a BBQ connoisseur in Texas, I was rather excited to try this meat shak. We went with a large group so I was unable to try all that I wanted to, and was rather surprised at their additional charges for plates and cups. It was, however, the fanciest cup I have ever paid 75 cents for. The turkey was very good and juicy. Their chicken and shredded pork were delightful, but a little sweet for my Texas taste. For sides I only tried the Mac and cheese, but it was some of the best I have ever tasted. The crust blended well with their cheese choices, creating an exquisite taste. Their sauces were good, and I particularly liked their spicy mustard-like sauce. It paired well with their meats. I personally believe they could improve their bread options but they were sufficient for their purpose. Outside seating was nice, but the tables did have spider webs on them. Felt like they hadn’t been used for quite some time. I didn’t spend any time inside the restaurant, so I cannot make any comments on the decor and its feel. Overall it was a good experience, and I would go back to at least try their brisket.“
