“Absolutely delicious! We tried the Chicken Crispy Bae Burger, and it was honestly one of the best halal burgers we’ve ever had! Perfectly crispy, juicy chicken with just the right amount of spice and flavor. The bun was soft, sauces were on point, and everything tasted super fresh. 🍔🔥

“20250714 Stopped here around 9:40 tonight to get some fried chicken for my pup. We only eat dark meat, and fortunately, they have dark meat available when I arrived this late. Thankfully, when I ordered 3 or 4 piece dark meat, I always get all legs and thighs. Unlike, Popeye that considers wings as dark meat, and their 3-piece chicken includes 1 wing, 1 leg and 1 thigh, which is annoying. I started going to KFC these last 2 visits because of it. Although my pup prefers Bojangles, and it appears that my pup likes Popeyes better than KFC. She didn't eat all her KFC chicken tonight.“

Sure, fries could have had more salt, but the chicken and sauces have plenty–guests can always ask for salt.

What totally sold me was that they actually had turkish Ayran! It went really well as a drink with my fried chicken.

The staff were all very attentive and many wished her a happy birthday as they welcomed us in, which often gets overlooked at other restaurants, but it made her morning feel so much more special. It may seem like a small notion, but it was a touching detail to our initial visit. The brunch menu is small but packed with flavors and meaningful dishes. We love this and wish we could try it all. We decided to start with the PB&J French toast as a shared app. It’s an entree item, but upon hearing how much the owner loves this item we had to try it out. We also ordered the Pineapple Bun sliders and Tornado omelette. For us the trio of entrees was the perfect blend of savory, sweet, and salty, hitting all the right notes. “If you haven't tried this filipino restaurant you are missing out. They might have all the fast food chicken places cooked. The spicy and original are both amazing. Spicy means spicy, too. Don't get thrown off by the spaghetti either. Filipino spaghetti is good with the balance of savory and sweet flavors. And who doesn't want a side of gravy to dip the chicken in or the biscuit, or to pour over the rice. Don't skip on the peach mango pie either. I wished there was one close to where I live.“

“I’ve had more hangry joes since I’ve moved out east than any other restaurant, my family and I *love* it. Biggest caveat, which is one of their strengths, is that the restaurant makes everything fresh… The spice levels have been variable at the five or six different ones I’ve been to! I only get mild, it sometimes the mild is too spicy. Then I’ll ask for “no heat” and it will be completely unseasoned…. If I could just find some consistency in their mild, I’d be good to go. LOL So far my favorite location has been crystal city around the pentagon shops. They always add ranch, and the cook is impeccable!“

Then I saw the new Double Down chicken sandwich. It has no bread. So I ordered it. No sides. The lady in drive thru was nice. I asked what type of suace they had. She listed them. Then I said I wanted the Buffalo. After leaving and opening my bag I noticed she gave me Honey Mustard and KFC Suace. So that really let me down. As for the nuggets. On scale 1 to 10. I give them a 2. They were tiny. And soggy. Popeyes are an 11. They are big and crispy. Now onto the double down. I give it a 9 out if 10. It was very good. Very filling and didn't make me sleepy.“
