great food great service all.of the staff are very accommodating
Service was great n good vibes, food definitely over priced for the amount that has been spent n still leave hungry, cooks need to watch the deep fryers a little more and stop over cooking. One entree we wanted n was told she wouldn’t cause the cooks either under or over cook that it never comes out right

The Shanty is a beautiful and friendly restaurant with a stunning view of the Bay. The menu features great food, including the fantastic Bang Bang Shrimp and delicious kale quinoa salad. Customers recommend the battered shrimp and potato salad, which can be paired with excellent local draft beer. It is a lovely place right on the water with the best view and a beautiful outdoor bar to catch a sunset. The shrimp and fried oysters are fresh and delicious, and the swordfish special is also delicious. The service is awesome, with excellent bartenders and very good waitstaff. It offers great drinks and a really friendly and unpretentious vibe. The food is 5 stars and everything is delicious, making it a popular choice for those visiting the Eastern Shore of Virginia.
