Today I went to the Bangladesh Embassy, and after I finished my embassy work, I started searching for a good restaurant in that area. Luckily, GPS found the restaurant. We went with my wife and my son, and we ordered three dishes. First, we ordered two dishes. We tasted the first two dishes; they were very delicious. Then we ordered another one. “This place is incredible. I am not aware of any other luosifen noodle house in the area. If you, like me, are a newcomer to this style of noodle soup, you are going to be extremely impressed. The bone broth is bracing, complex, and flavorful, far richer and deeper than pho or tonkotsu. Recommend getting it spicy: it brings all the flavors together without being overwhelming. He even made our kids happy! Any request they had, he was on top of. Very attentive, respectful, and polite! Maybe this guy should be a manager….? Oriental Express has been our go-to for quick, very casual, tasty take-out Chinese food. It’s the best one in the area as far as price, quality, and taste. Their lunch special will get you full- full. It comes with rice, your choice of lunch special entree, soda can or soup (I suggest you get won ton or hot and sour soup), and an egg-roll. We always get General Tso’s chicken, orange chicken, sesame chicken, or sweet and sour (pick your protein). Their chicken wings are pretty good too.
