“Delicious food and super thoughtful staff
I ordered a mint and Turkish coffee to start with the intention of ordering lamb. When the sheep came, I was surprised in an interesting way by the presentation of the dish. The sheep is butter, soft, and cooked in the literal sense and looks exactly the same as it did in the menu, bones and all.“

“Awesome! the only thing i dont like about was the old lady offer me more rice (i didnt ask for it) instead of the naan and she didn’t tell me about it. Then i asked the guy who works there that if naan is sold out then he told me because the old lady gave me more rice but he was so nice to make me a fresh naan :) 🫓“

“I stopped by Taste of Istanbul this afternoon for the first time. For the most part it was really good. I ordered a potato pide, 2 doner kebab, mixed meze, and pistachio baklava. Everything was delicious except for the”baklava”, which turned out to be two greasy dough cylinders. No phyllo, no honey, no pistachio filling. I was disappointed that I wasted $7.00 for inedible dough I ended up throwing in the garbage. Get the kebabs, stay away from their version of baklava.“

“Reston Kabob is hands down the best spot in the area for authentic Afghan food! The kabobs are perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, and the portions are generous. The rice is flavorful, and the fresh naan completes the meal. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the service is fast, even during busy hours. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, the quality is always consistent. Highly recommend the chicken kabob and the lamb combo – you won’t be disappointed! A true gem in Reston!“

“I love this spot! Their fresh bread is to die for, everything is so flavorful, and you can tell a lot of heart goes into the food. We ordered a two kabob meals, hummos, and mantu, and extra bread (of course). The owner is super kind and personally knows his regular customers. 11/10 would recommend and hoping to get to regular status soon!“

“My wife's birthday. She wanted lamb curry, I wanted goat.
They both tasted great and were really soft. The goat curry had bones as a FYI, but that is to be expected for those who haven't had it.
The curry came with rice and chickpeas, both great.
The naan looked to be made fresh and both were larger than the paper plates they came out on.
Also ordered masa fries, which were crispy and great, and a samosa which came with 2.
Will go again.“
