I’m in Charlottesville for a month and I’m so glad I’ve found this place. The dishes are very authentic, they classic comfort foods like Isan (Lao Style) papaya, Isan cucumber salad, sausages/ sticky rice, and fried crispy pork belly.
Chimm is hands down one of the restaurants I miss most from our time in Virginia.
My husband and I found it while shopping nearby, and after seeing that they offered gluten-free options, we decided to give it a try.

This restaurant is epically good. There are many options to choose from on the menu and you can’t make a bad choice. The dishes are quite authentic and they have some items I haven’t been able to find at other restaurants.
