“I desperately need groceries, but the weather is so gross today. I jumped on DoorDash and they suggested Mazari Kebab. The pictures looked good so I gave it a try. OMG Best decision I have ever made! I wanted to get 2 meals out of my order, so I got the chicken kebab platter and added salmon, as well as the lentil soup and baklava. Everything tastes amazing! The salmon was cooked perfectly--thoroughly done, but still moist. This was my first time trying kabuli rice, and it was delicious! The chickpeas and kidney beans were well seasoned. The lentil soup was rich and creamy. The baklava was pure heaven--buttery and just the right amount of sweetness. I can't wait to finish everything up for dinner, and I especially can't wait to order again and try more items from the menu!“

I thought I was ordering the pita lunch special, I ended up paying more and not getting the sides and drink. Pita was delicious but they server should make it more clear what the options are.“
“This casual easy restaurant has become our favorite when visiting Norfolk. With a theme based on New York City street food but with an emphasis on Middle Eastern items, there’s something for everyone from warm delicious lamb kebab wraps and house made hummus to pizza, calzone and fries to stuffed grape leaves and falafel for the vegetarians. The whole family is satisfied including the pickiest eater, my husband, who loves the lamb platter - juicy bits of lamb surrounded by sliced tomatoes.“

“We stopped in on Saturday, May 8th specifically for the gyros. We were impressed by the deli and all the home made goodies in the fridge. Of course, we had to have some baklava too. Neither I nor my friend could finish our gyros! They were so full of meat and so tasty! We'll definitely be back to this Granby Street gem.“
