“This place is definitely a hidden gem in RVA. Both locations have great food that is always fresh, never salty or processed. I order to-go and they are always fast. I usually order the salad with either chicken or salmon. Tonight I ordered the lamb, chicken, rice, veggies and hummus for my mom and I tonight and everything was delicious 🤤”

“I've been here three times hoping for better- I have never enjoyed anything I've eaten here. so this will be my last visit. The pizza is not great. The dough is rubbery and bland. a little salt wouldn't hurt anybody. But the real reason I'll never go back is because of the jerky "chef" who thinks he's funny. I don't think he's funny at all, in fact I think he's really rude. Quit the jokes and go back to culinary school. There is absolutely no reason for me to ever go here again. I know the people that own it are really nice but this guy is not and I just don't need to be subjected to that kind of BS while I am paying for it.”

“So I have been to this place twice. The first time I visited, I told them it was my first time. I got the honey garlic chicken. So the meal surprised me it had 2 normal size chicken breastwhich were juicy and delicious and a nice size baked potato bread and a fresh Cesar salad. I also got their lobster queso spinach dip 52$ Visit #2 i ordered the same just to see if it would change i told them it was my second time . So this time I got 2 chicken breast but they were vary small and they were dry. The potato was very small and the salad wasn't as fresh. I also got 10 Bar B Q wings but I still paid $51 dollars”

“We are a large family, and accommodating us is difficult. This location was able to seat us at a large table. The food was amazing but the service was beyond compare. Ryland is so quick whitted. I have not laughed that much in a long time. He even found a way to use the 6-7 joke for our sons birthday. We will absolutely be returning!”

“I love the service at this location and it’s Always CLEAN”

“Wow! This place is amazing. Now for me, when I say amazing in regards to restaurants it is normally always weighted about 75% directly towards the only reason I am there, The Food. This small place has been tucked in beside a Food Lion at a strip mall and slinging rice for over 25 YEARS! But unlike so may other oriental establishments, they have been working on the food and got it right!! But more on that in a minute.

After 25 years, it was finally time for a Make-Over. And I don't mean just replacing the nasty peice of hanging plastic across the counter like they have at banks. Or cleaning the glass on the old washed out colored pictures of the food dishes plastered all over the walls which still leave you wondering if that green stuff is broccoli or a fuzzy catapillar. I'm talking about making a space that is honest to goodness CHILL!

Several super call-outs. The huge matching pictures on the walls immediately start to fill you will a sense of peace and being relaxed. The lighting is not overwhelming but still allows you to see what you're eating. The truly nice touch is that even the design and color of the hanging lamp shades match the color and design of the wall pictures to multiply the atmosphere of the space. Very calming. A new addition to the dining room is the heated buffet table for their lunch crowd. The small mirrors and crushed glass diamond accenting on the buffet table also matches the front service counter. They shared great pride in their long and prosperous cultural heritage along the back wall. Very nice touch while maintaining the gravity of their history.

The Food was amazing! So, full disclosure, I make this statement based on the level of their ability to make the simplest and most fundamental item on their menu. The Fried Rice. Because rice is the foundation of most every dish served, if the fried rice sucks, so does the dish. Why would I care if your Wanton Soup is out of this world if I can't stand your rice. In the case of this restaurant rice pays the bills, not the soup.

The rice was perfect. No hard uncooked grains or dry no-tasting cardboard that no amount of soy sauce could change. They don't normally have bean sprouts in their fried rice but were happy to add them when I asked with no fuss or whinning. So tender that I was actuality able to taste and know I was eating INDIVIDUAL grains of rice and not a bowl of chopped straw or maybe oatmeal. And, everything about my Wife's dish of Sesame Chicken was fantastic. Not a bunch of hard clumps of batter to cover up tiny pieces of chicken.

Great experience. Very kind and attentive server. They were closed for a month or so during the make-over but are now back and open for business. I speak blessings and abundance over them. I invite and challenge you to test my review.

“Great pizza, great staff.

They have plant based cheese and italian sausage for vegan options. Not bad. Lots of veggies to add as well. I would have loved to see beyond steak tips or soy curls on the menu, but what they have is totally feasible and I ended up with a good vegan pizza.

I placed a pick up order and the form/website told me it would be ready in 13 minutes. I showed up 20 minutes later and it hadn't gone in yet... took another 30 minutes to get the pizza. However -- the person working realized that this was not a great customer experienced, and they offered to refund me the full amount without me having to ask or express frustration or anything. There were a few other people waiting on late pizzas and he offered them the same as well. I'm very please with how they handled that situation. Seemed like they may have been short staffed.”

“The kind folks at Brew hosted the rehearsal dinner for my daughter's wedding, and they were wonderful to work with. Reasonable prices, great food, and the service was terrific too. And, we felt like they were celebrating right along with us. Super convenient to Pocahontas State Park. Highly recommend.”

“We may be biased, but the food is excellent. Most people forget that Frutta Bowls is also part of the restaurant. The convenience of a full Saladworks menu and a Frutta Bowls menu allows for a little something for everyone. That's great for families that want healthy, delicious options they know the children will enjoy too.”

“I came in for a submarine sandwich today and the young American lady who took my order was very polite and even had very good recommendations for the toppings/veggies to go on my sub. The bread was very fresh, fresh cut meats and the sub was not messy and was made picture perfect, it was amazingly delicious. The place was very clean. I will be back for lunch in the near future. “Have ordered and dined in here many times in past couple of years. Always good food and service. Restaurant recently renovated and looks nice. One oddity though with recent purchase of a wrap. The ends were not folded in as wraps typically are. They basically just put all the fixings on the wrap and rolled it up. This made eating it a very messy experience. But it still tasted delicious.”

“Good service and food! We ordered the Orange Chicken rice bowl and Thai Style sesame chicken. Both were very fresh and taste great. Also portions were ample especially considering they were 14.95 each. Will definitely visit again. Oh, tried the Uji Matcha latte with honey boba-was good but very sweet! Enjoy!”
