“The service is slow. I was sitting in the drive thru and was asked to hold on for a minute, while waiting over 3 minutes another car pulled up to the other lane and placed his order. I'm still sitting there waiting to place an order. , I finally said hello to see if there was anyone there to take my order I was asked to go ahead and place my order. . I asked why I had been sitting there for so long waiting and no one was taking my order, her response was well we have two people taking orders. SHE had a no care attitude! This McDonald's has gone way down hill. There is never a 90 second time in Drive thru, no one is never friendly, most of the time the orders are wrong.”

“We were up in Damascus last weekend working on our house late and needed to find someplace still open to get food. Found Sweet Ed’s on Google and went to give them a try. We walked in about 30 mins before closing and they were so nice to take care of us. The food was great! So great in fact we came back again the next night for their smokin Saturday! “My husband took his late mother out to lunch one day. He remembered how fantastic the slaw dogs were. (This was about 30 years ago.) He’s still trying to find/make slaw dogs as great-tasting as Buck’s Drive-In. So far, no luck. Guess we have to go visit this place whenever we’re in the area.”

“Sure, the place has a dated atmosphere, and the tables and chairs are way too small, but the fact is the food is absolutely stellar. Everything was cooked fresh, tasted incredible, and my mother who was visiting from Germany even loved it. I had a shrimp lo mein, my mother had a shrimp dish, and my husband had the general tsao's (which he is super picky about - wants it more spicy, less sweet. Most places make it too sweet, and he hates that so 5 stars from him alone just for that), and we had the dumplings as an appetizer. The dumplings were incredibly plump, and steamed to perfection. This place may not look it, but don't sleep on it. This is Saltville's hidden gem Chinese-American restaurant. Give these folks your money, and help em renovate the place a bit. 😄 Your food was amazing! Keep it up!”

“Cute hotdog stand, with plenty of seating, indoors and outdoors. The slaw dog is my favorite. It was perfect. The Carolina red hotdog can be jarring at first look, but it's yummy. The dip dog was liked by others in my party. It's a hand battered corn dog, not thickly breaded like the frozen kind.”

Their cheese sticks are crazy good!! They make their dough in house and shred their cheese fresh daily. They make exceptional pizza (and more)... To be honest, their food is so good, it's so top notch that it's like what I'd expect from a large city with a bustling populous that demands the highest quality. This Pizza Plus location would rival any pizza place in a metropolitan area, it's literally that good.
My husband and I are new to the area and we've tried so many places (even in Abingdon) but nothing has hit the spot like this place. ❤️
