“Went through the drive through. Both employees we interacted with were very pleasant, and the food came much more quickly than we were expecting. We ordered two chicken biscuits and one chicken fried steak biscuit, all with hash rounds. All three biscuits were overall good, but it was noticeable that they had most likely been prepared in advance (biscuit edges had started to dry). The hash rounds were fine. We were in and out in minutes, and the drive through was packed when we originally pulled up. Actual FAST food!”

“The service is slow. I was sitting in the drive thru and was asked to hold on for a minute, while waiting over 3 minutes another car pulled up to the other lane and placed his order. I'm still sitting there waiting to place an order. , I finally said hello to see if there was anyone there to take my order I was asked to go ahead and place my order. . I asked why I had been sitting there for so long waiting and no one was taking my order, her response was well we have two people taking orders. SHE had a no care attitude! This McDonald's has gone way down hill. There is never a 90 second time in Drive thru, no one is never friendly, most of the time the orders are wrong.”

“My husband took his late mother out to lunch one day. He remembered how fantastic the slaw dogs were. (This was about 30 years ago.) He’s still trying to find/make slaw dogs as great-tasting as Buck’s Drive-In. So far, no luck. Guess we have to go visit this place whenever we’re in the area.”

“Looking at the place, you wouldn't think anyone ever goes there, and maybe they don't for eat-in. There's lots of space for eat-in, but while we got there about 12:30 on a weekday, not one other person joined us. A lot of the space is used for storage, maybe simply because it's available. I understand they do a lot of business for takeout though.

I got a lunch special, and they gave me a heaping plate of food for $7.50, fresh and very good. I got chicken with cashew nuts, which was sauced fried chicken (not the same crunchy chicken like sweet and sour), diced carrots, diced celery, and fresh (not sauced) cashews, and with a large heap of pork (diced small) fried rice. They gave us a cup of sauce packets, with a lot of options.

They don't have fountain drinks, with bottles and cans instead. This includes water - if you're planning to dine in and get water to save money, it doesn't cost much more to just get a soft drink. Or a can Yoohoo, which is what I got - it's the same price as the water.”

“I've enjoyed Hunt Bros. for over 20 years. The slices are a great after work snack and on a "we just want the whole thing" night, one phone call is all. Our local Marathon ladies make them less than a mile from our house !”

“This little gem is tucked away in a mini strip mall behind the Shell gas station. Tasty Mexican food, full bar and a laid back atmosphere. Nice to have little eateries like this nearby.”

“This is some of the best pizza around! It’s a little pizzeria tucked in beside a small motel. I have ate from here many years and plan to do so for many more! So many great options. The steak sub with a side of fries is so yummy. The bread it to die for. Nice and toasty but soft and delicious on the inside. The fried pickles appetizer is absolutely the best I’ve had! But the crown jewel has got to be the Sicilian style pizza. I try to order it as much as I can. And the owner is super nice and accommodating.”

Now, as far as the food here goes: 10/10!
Their cheese sticks are crazy good!! They make their dough in house and shred their cheese fresh daily. They make exceptional pizza (and more)... To be honest, their food is so good, it's so top notch that it's like what I'd expect from a large city with a bustling populous that demands the highest quality. This Pizza Plus location would rival any pizza place in a metropolitan area, it's literally that good.
My husband and I are new to the area and we've tried so many places (even in Abingdon) but nothing has hit the spot like this place. ❤️
