Ropewalk Restaurant in Chincoteague offers awesome views, attentive staff, and a wonderful atmosphere. While some found the drinks a bit weak, the food was delicious, though slightly pricey. The outdoor patio by the water Boardwalk with live music adds to the experience. The day boat scallops were tasty, but the portion size left something to be desired. The clam chowder was not that good, but the appetizer shrimp and rockfish taco were tasty. The crush drinks, shrimp, crab legs, and wings are delicious, though servings can be small. The "Piña Colada" is more of a slushie with artificial flavor. Service is exceptional, and accessibility is great, though handicap parking could be better. The risotto rice was not fresh, but the host and waitress service was very good. It’s expensive for lunch, but the pitcher-size water and iced tea are nice touches. The general manager goes above and beyond to help guests.
