“Gardner’s Grill catered my son and daughter-in-laws wedding rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. They did a fantastic job! They were onsite both days with sous chef or chef and servers. The rehearsal dinner was a plated meal with a filet (AMAZING!) or Chicken Cordon Bleu (INCREDIBLE!!), mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, and an outstanding dessert. The food was so delicious and perfectly prepared! The wedding reception meal consisted of an onsite grill with smash burgers, hotdogs and chicken quarters literally served hot off the grill. The mac n cheese was sooooo good, as was everything that they served! They have great suggestions and options that can meet every food desire. Cindy, Chef, sous chef and all of the servers were so friendly and wonderful to work with. I highly recommend utilizing them for your catering event needs. I cannot say enough about how positive the experience was.”

“I brought my grandaughter here for her 12th birthday and oh my goodness it was absolutely the best! the staff are topnotch and very friendly! we came on a Thursday so we got the teriyaki chicken bowl which is 50% off on Thursdays. The portions are huge! I recommend this place to anyone who likes this type of food you will glad you did”

“First time coming here. I got an Italian meats sandwich (which I kind of use as a benchmark for sandwich shops). The service was good and quick. You grab a bag that's labeled for a different category of sandwich (Like I said I got an Italian, but there's like 6 other categories, each with around 3 different types of meats). You then mark with a red marker what you want on your sandwich. If you don't want it toasted, make sure to let them know that you want it cold. I would go here again.”

“What a discovery! I basically found this place on my own and tried it out of curiosity (the neon "Pizza" sign on the window helped). I ordered a sausage pizza with extra cheese, and this is unquestionably the best pizza in the New River Valley, and easily among the best I've had anywhere (and I don't say that lightly)! Their dough and sauce are homemade, and they're both SUPERIOR. The cheese, REALLY good. And the sausage IS the best I've ever had on a pizza (just look at the picture!). You should also know that this is a very filling pizza; they are very generous with the crust and toppings. And I can hardly believe how great the prices are; it's a no-brainer that I'll be back here a lot! The owner, who is newer to this area from upstate New York, was very friendly and has an obvious passion for what she's doing here. Even though I've only ordered the pizza here (so far), I am absolutely confident in giving this place a 5-star review from the experience, and can't wait to explore more of their menu. This is the kind of place I'd feel lucky to find in a big city, but it's right here in Christiansburg, VA! This place deserves to be better known and to get tons of business, and I hope it does. You'll be glad you tried it!”

“I come to this location pretty often since I work nearby, and I have to say I’ve noticed such a positive change in the atmosphere here. In the past, there were times I would come in and almost feel like I was a burden just for placing an order. That has completely changed, and Desiree has been such a big part of that.

She is incredibly kind and consistently provides excellent customer service. After just a few visits, she remembered my name and even my usual order. I would never expect someone to remember those little details, but it is such a sweet gesture and genuinely makes you feel valued as a customer.

No matter when I come in, she always has a great attitude and makes you feel welcome. I’ve also noticed that the overall morale of the location seems so much better since she’s been here. The environment feels friendlier, more positive, and much more welcoming.

Desiree is truly a breath of fresh air in food service and such an asset to this location. Great customer service makes such a difference, and she absolutely deserves to be recognized for it!”

“Today I went to Starbucks and was served by a nice barista named Nick, or Nic, not sure what their spelling was but they had pretty green hair. Anyways- I asked if they could just make my shaken oatmilk espresso in the cup because I’m allergic to dairy. Not only they were super nice and accommodating about my anaphylactic dairy allergy which is really hard to find anywhere-but it was really good to hear they took the time xtra few seconds and made sure they used clean utensils and cups to make it. Thank you, awesome Starbucks barista-I chugged my delicious, wonderful drink and didn’t have any issues! ❤️🥺”

I ordered the Honey Sesame Chicken with fried rice, with some cheese Wontons as an appetizer, and it was all absolutely delicious. The employees were polite and professional and the prices were reasonably fair for this day and age. This will be my go-to restaurant when visiting Christiansburg from now on!”
