“Their food is always fresh and delicious. The only negatives would be:
*only plastic bottled drinks.
*serving size compared to price(an example would be their tiramisu) is quite small. You should be getting double the size of the small cup.
*you have to order as soon as you walk in at the register and some ppl like to sit and view the menu.
Staff are very welcoming and helpful.“

“Second visit, great food both times. And pretty great prices, imo. I scheduled my order via app ahead of time, and it was ready when I arrived. Especially impressive since the poor cook was working by himself for quite some time. As in no other employees on site for at least 30 mins after I sat down to eat. But the cook was flying through his orders and even serving tables at the same time. Give the guy a raise.“

“We had people in from out of town, and Ray was our server. One person had wings with no sauce, and she was really pleased with them (done sous vide!). She was concerned they wouldn't be crispy enough, but they indeed were. Two of us had the salmon, which was perfectly cooked, and both were well pleased. I chose the duck (I love duck anyway) because it came with the crispy brussels sprouts. I loved the little spray of shredded carrots, and the mashed potatoes were lovely. They always do duck here so well! Of course the brussels sprouts were delicious; the only thing that could have improved was if there had been MORE of them. I was sad to say goodbye to my favorite server at 622: Alex. We wish him well in the Big City!“

“We stopped here for a quick lunch it wasn't our plan but we were pleasantly suprised! I had a cup of tomato basil soup and spinach and feta quiche, I could've gotten just the quiche as the portion was generous! Both items were tasty and the outdoor eating area was pleasant. We decided to buy a baguette, a macaron, and a lemon bar to take along with us since lunch was so enjoyable. The pistachio macaron was good and had a nice pistachio flavor. The lemon bar was huge and fantastic if you like lemon don't miss this treat! The baguette was delicious as well! We will definitely return on our next visit to Blacksburg!“

“Not for the shop, but they were setup at the farmers market so picked up a half dozen bagels and a loaf of spelt bread.TLDR: bagels were awesome, the bread was a big disappointment. All of the bagels were good, though the ginger and date was such a mild flavor it was overwhelmed by cream cheese. The parm+peppercorn was awesome, and the jalapeno cheddar had a great jalapeno flavor. Really can't say enough good things about these -- great texture and chew though maybe a little heavy on the cornmeal on the bottom for some. Didn't try the multigrain which can be tricky. The bread was just a real let-down, crumbling in your hands. Spelt is an older grain whose gluten can be tricky to work with, but this was so dry and crumbly when you'd try to pull out a slice from the bag it'd split in half. About 1/3 of the loaf seemed to just split off the top like the a seam hadn't taken when they rolled/shaped it for baking.
Vegetarian options: Guys it's bagels“

“IMHO Bollo’s has the best coffee in town. Always balanced, strong, and not bitter. Ranae Gillie has been at this a long time from Gillie’s to Bollo’s and knows just what she’s doing when it comes to homemade baked goods and serious coffee.“

“First time guest. Great quality food for the price. It was very busy due to a concert nearby. However, I did not have to wait to be seated. I was quite surprised at the capacity they have. I had the meat lovers calzone as the main dish and spinach artichoke dip appetizer. The artichoke dip was something very special as it has a bit of dill to make it stand out. The calzone was a good size and had excellent quality meats and cheese. Generous portion of house made marinara.
Parking was difficult (took over 10 minutes to find a spot) and the busyness made service 4 stars, however they did a great job getting the food out once ordered. I would go back for sure.“
